isurrender Posted July 11, 2019 at 12:55 PM Posted July 11, 2019 at 12:55 PM (edited) I'm pretty sure Céline's shows capacity is defined as well to make it more or less sold out at the end of the day. Again, I don't see why prices are that high. Look at P!ink's prices and she fills up stadiums. I'd like to see how many people would Céline drag with affordable tickets by everyone. I really don't understand them. It's like they don't want people to see her haha ( like Sony Sony doesn't want to sell her music). I'm not talking about us but random people. Roughly , 5000 ppl with 200 euros tickets or 10000 ppl with 100 euros tickets , income are the same... Edited July 11, 2019 at 12:55 PM by isurrender 2 Quote

I remember Katy Perry did a concert here in our country 1 in arena and 1 in Philppine Arena (The largest indoor arena in the world) and comparing the ticket prices from the smaller arena.. The larger arena is cheaper. Quote

I am sure renting a bigger arena is more expensive, so the cost is higher, which reduces net income. Quote

Well the case is i suppose that if you’re performing to 30,000 people, you can charge max $300 tickets and make $2,000,000. however, if someone Celines stature can only rent a 10,000 seat arena due to the stadium not being available, to still meet the $2,000,000 required you need to up the prices, as theres only 10,000 people to make money off of, so it’s sacrosanct Quote
ordinary fan Posted July 11, 2019 at 01:23 PM Posted July 11, 2019 at 01:23 PM Im extremely surprised she didnt sing it in Asia in 2018, its done on like every talent show there and is LOVED. Maybe the Courage world tour will see its return to Asia Yeah it was abig surprise for me as well. Even though it's lipped, the audiences would have eaten it up, I'm sure. I would so love that, if they would have like 2 or three songs to change at every continent, or even country. Like IYAMT in USA and Canada, IS in asia, TT in europe and so on 1 Quote

I mean if a venue can hold let's say 15000 ppl why would they cut it to 9000? ( beside the pit etc..). Quote

Because shes using an endstage which cuts a large section of the back wall, the “max capacities” only take it as a thin stage right up against the wall with a full mosh when no one really does that Quote

She didn’t have such long breaks in any previous world tour so she probably doesn’t need them now either. I think that a few weeks between each leg and some more short breaks (like the Christmas break or the one in November) should be enough. 1 Quote The best is yet to come...
AdrienneM Posted July 12, 2019 at 03:27 PM Posted July 12, 2019 at 03:27 PM Well, id say give her 2 months to rest, recuperate and just relax before she moves on to a European leg, same after Europe 1 Quote
Céline RO Posted July 15, 2019 at 02:42 PM Posted July 15, 2019 at 02:42 PM Guys, what do you think is going to be the continents order for this tour, considering she said it will last 1 year and will be doing Paris in July 2020? What countries do you think she will visit? Please list the countries you think are likely to be visited and not the ones you would like her to come to. Quote The best is yet to come...

Well i think it’s definitely likely to go on for more than a year.... unless she only intends to do The US, Canada, Europe and maybe South Africa or South America... i have some weird feeling she wont do Asia/Oceania due to just being there and for her vocal sake Quote

I think she'll do Europe in the Summer of 2020 and that she will also do Asia & Australia later in 2020.One because it's a WORLD tour and because she noticed first hand how she was loved over there last year (and promised she'll be back and won't take as long). I just HOPE she'll include South-America and countries like Spain and Italy this time around. jpatdeleon09 Posted July 15, 2019 at 03:07 PM Posted July 15, 2019 at 03:07 PM a WORLD TOUR. So, I'll be positive that Asia and Oceania will be included in this upcoming WORLD tour. Quote
Ukrfan Posted July 15, 2019 at 04:12 PM Posted July 15, 2019 at 04:12 PM I am a bit sceptical of the dates to be honest. She has already announced 66 dates only in North America. TCWT had 132 concerts, and as far as I remember, Celine was very tired after it and said that she wouldn't do something like that, right? So there are not as many possible dates left. Probably around 30-40 concerts. I don't believe she will visit South America, even though I do want her to. Unless she changed her mind after a warm welcome during all the summer tours. Then, perhaps, there will be more dates. Anyway, I am sure she is going to visit France, Belgium, Netherlands, and the UK. Well on TCWT she did 73 dates in North America, so its not a push. I can forsee a rather short European leg and a South African leg, possibly Asia and Oceania, which would most likely take place in Winter 2020. Quote
joaofilho Posted July 15, 2019 at 05:55 PM Posted July 15, 2019 at 05:55 PM I think this is a strategy, as she did shows in Europe in 2017 and now in London, if she returns to Europe next year, they should only announce the shows when the tour starts in the United States. Quote

Actually, once tickets for the rest of her North American shows go on sale she is likely to reach 70 shows as she will most likely have to add shows in L.A., Vancouver, Edmonton. Moreover, she may go back to Québec at the end of the tour which would mean even more shows, up to 75. That being said, I still think that, unless she does stadium shows, she will have to have at least another 50 shows (30 in Europe and 20 in Asia-Oceania). Then we’ll already be in the 120s. Finally, if she does in fact do shows in South America of Africa, we could easily get to 130-140. Therefore, I really think (and hope) that she has changed her mind and is ready to do some hardcore touring this next year(s). Quote The best is yet to come...

She was tired because it was 849 shows in 6 years. 717 shows for A new day and 2 months after the tour with 132 shows. This time she can easily take 1 month off between america and europe and another month before asia, etc (for exemple) she can do the tour in 2 years with months off. 5 Quote
