Yeah I gave up on any hope of seeing her in London for the show I have tickets for next year. In fact, I’ve made other plans already that I wouldn’t be able to back out of for that date.

I doubt it. I think this time it will be an official news release regarding cancelled for foreseeable future and refunds and that will be it …

And separately, it was reported (by David Farrell, former editor of Canadian Billboard and member of the Canadian Music & Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame) that she's "said to be winding down her day-to-day business operations and laying off staff. This follows a 40-year career in the international spotlight."

Hard to say. We don't know anything is being cancelled yet though. Too much reading unofficial sources on the internet and jumping to negative conclusions going on on here at the moment.

Check again her announcement video related to her illness: December 8, 2022 Céline has (determinedly) said that she is surrounded by the best medical teams and working very hard every day.

The most important thing: She is giving everything to her 100% recovery.

If she does make it back to the stage (and I pray that she does!) I think the days of “The Power of Love”, “All By Myself” etc as we know them may be behind us.

 

Surely she’ll need to strip them back, change the arrangements, do them acoustically or even drop them altogether? I guess no-one really knows but I fear we’ve seen the last of these bombastic performances.

 

Thankfully she’s been in lipsynch training for this for decades. The casual fans would never know…

What would her day-to-day business operations have been during all this time anyway? And what staff would that mean...Feelings Productions? Have they been working during this whole period?

 

So many questions, just rhetorical as we don't know the answers.
