Well, I hope it's for another reason. You have thousands of fans who paid hundreds of dollars to see you and you can deliver one more song because it's your twins birthday? The disrespect!! I hope this is not the case. But to me there's no excuse to keep cutting songs at such high prices

 

There are people here that no matter how disrespectful things are coming up, they will always find a reason to excuse Celine, pepillo! So she insists to go on and keep with the show the other day, when she was painfully struggling with her voice, but she can cut songs when she needs to rush home because it's her twins' birthday, and everything's fine with that? Very coherent.

 

But who are we to say anything. Most of the audience has no idea what she's going to sing and has no interest in what she sings, as long as they see Celine singing. So it doesn't matter if she cuts a song or not, 95% of the audience will not notice. And so it all goes on with normality, like we see

I'm glad that The Reason is gone, last time she sang it she struggled a little and it is a very demanding song to sing. Overall, with the current set of songs Celine has a rest only durings playbacks, I know many people think it's all about big belts and everything, but for the sake of preserving the voice they could choose a few more subtle songs, like if only they put ANDHC instead of TR

I totally get your point, but I won't go as far as claim her talent is "sleeping now". Her performances of IYAMT and TP are proof that she still has it. The long notes in those performances are comparable to her long notes in the 90s. Just breathtaking. It's even more impressive now considering her age. I mean i'm not saying this just because i'm a fanatic, but because her performances so far are objectively outstanding.

 

 

 

Well you can just marry me, I'm waiting I can be patient, like waiting for Celine to shine again someday on a stage. Her talent is sleeping now, but anytime it can wake up. I'm patient

I don't have any complain with the quality of her performances, but excuse me, we have seen her performing The Prayer 1.239 times already. I mean her talent is "sleeping" because she's not using it to grow as a performer and as an artist. When she uses her talent to sing the same damn songs she's been singing for 20 years, I can't see any good use of that talent.

 

She DID use her talent when she created a new medley of her own French songs in 2016. Or when she took LIAWN in 2017, a song that has been forgotten since she declared she loved rehearsing it for Vegas in the One Heart booklet, and then had the ambition to include it in a show done almost 15 years later. Well, she took 14 years to sing a song she said she "enjoyed so much rehearsing" to present it in front of an audience. 14 years later, when her voice has changed a lot since the original recording, but she finally performed it. One of her own forgotten songs. That was a step forward.

 

But this same creativity and ambition is not showing in this tour, currently. So when she starts using her talent to create and evolve as an artist and not only act as repetitive performer, I will say differently.

 

Sorry, it is my opinion. And it's only that, an opinion!

Considering these concerts are what? 8 months away? Thats a relatively good sale. I mean Mannheim and Vienna (yes thats Austria but its also presented on the site) have sold very well, most of the expensive tickets have sold and its interestingy the cheap ones left sitting, however i expect all Post Xmas shows will go quicker post Xmas season

I'm amazed by the level of clairvoyance of some people here. So they cut The Reason to finish the concert 4 minutes earlier so she could go to Vegas 4 minutes earlier? This is just absurd. Someone said that the concert started 45' later and we don't know the reason. Have you stopped thinking there might have been technical issues? Sound problems they had to fix? Some member of the band or Celine herself being ill last minute? We don't know what clauses they have with the venues. There are people working taking down the stage after the concert is over, overtime fees... I don't know, but anything is more plausible than to think she cut The Reason because it was the birthday of her kids and that would save her 4 minutes, 4 f*** minutes gosh!

I don’t think people were disappointed for cutting one song at least the people who were there were really enjoying Céline’s performance. That’s what matters the most. And she did great. At least we still have 18-19 songs? some artists only sing below than that. And there will be changes for sure when the album is released and for that they will need effort again to make a new visuals for the new songs. If not i think they will just replaced songs that fits the old visuals. Like they did for the visuals for Encore Un Soir - The Prayer. Same visuals.

Of course it will be any other reason that escapes us, and probably it will be an important reason (problem with her belting the song or a problem with the playback track, if used). But someday someone here is going to say she cut a song because she wanted to arrive home on time to watch her favourite TV show, and he/she's going to find that a good reason to shorten the show!

Are you sure the concert did start 45 minutes late? Because if it said 7:30 pm on the tickets, it may mean that you can take your seats at 7:30 pm. In Ottawa, the announcement said that she'd be on stage at 8:10 pm. This would mean that the concert is actually scheduled around 40 minutes after the time given on the ticket. This would mean that she was only 5 minutes late if she went on stage at 8:15 pm.

To be fair, 4 minutes do make a big different in terms of air traffic and air schedules. I love her but what about starting a show 4 minutes earlier instead for people who flew 10 hours flight or more for her may be? But of course if it's about the last minute things such as sickness or technical problems like you said. Those are totally understandable situations!💗

Just take Munich concert for example

It cost €156 for seata far, far, far away from the stage,no wonder they are still available.

I think Celine is as famous as ,or even more famous than P!nk,U2,Madonna in Europe.If the promoter set the price range from €60 to €150,it would be sold out quickly even with the stadium Munich Olympiastadion.
