Um... I'd hardly call the April event in LA - and everything around it - "zero promotion"!

And tour is, like, ~95% sold out. What else do you want to promote??

 

I want that her career will be taken seriously and everything else that goes around with that.

If you think that this is the case then I guess we see things very differently.

Regarding sales, are people not taking into account how many of the “sold” seats were actually sold to third party sites like StubHub, Vivid Seats, Gametime, etc.? Just because a seat “sold” doesn’t mean it sold. Just sayin’.

I find it truly staggering that we are being mocked for having opinions!! The thing is some people who comment don’t even go to her shows so I think the ones that have spent thousands of pounds/dollars etc over the years attending her shows are entitled to their opinion and shouldn’t be ridiculed for harshing everyone else’s buzz so to speak.

 

I am still excited for the tour to begin and hope there are many surprises but that doesn’t take away the fact that this stage setup looks lame in comparison to other touring artists and by today’s standards it’s just not good enough. It looks to me like she had more room to move around on the summer tour’s stage setup and only one middle front facing screen suspended from the ceiling instead of two front facing side screens, it’s like we’re going back the way! It seems to me all this current team want or maybe it’s more a case of being capable of is to concentrate on lighting and visuals on the big screen but we need more than that!

 

This tour badly needed a creative director to give it a theme and to come up with elaborate staging and visuals. Yes the staging director, if that’s what Yves Aucoin is, can to a certain degree achieve this but a creative director needs to come up with the overall theme of the show. I don’t understand why someone hasn’t been brought on to oversee it all.

 

I was hoping to be blown away by this tour but honestly don’t think it’s likely to be any different than the previous summer tours in terms of how basic the setup was.

People are spoiled with many great shows. you not only come to see the artist but you a whole experience. An artist of Celine's calibre needs an incredible tour stagedesign. Again i speak of Taylor Swift's creative stagedesign, Madonna, -money should not be an issue.

No, I’m guessing at these 3 songs, cannot see them giving too much of the album away before it’s release so am thinking definitely FOMO, new single and if they plan to do the ‘Courage’ World Tour without the song Courage that would just be preposterous!

First off, Jesus! The tour hasn’t started yet and the stage is barely lit. We have no idea of what kind of technical aspects it is capable of or what the visuals are. Chill out! After the first show of both the French Canadian and first English show in Cleveland, THEN we can complain.

 

Second, Taylor Swift toured in STADIUMS. This is an ARENA tour. They’d have to shrink the stage for anything like that to work.

I like the stage so far. We don't even know what visuals will be incorporated.

 

Something to consider is that Celine likes to aim for intimacy with her audience lately and this stage does that. The one for Taylor's reputation tour is not intimate at all. She feels very distant imo.

 

Also, why do people like center stage designs? I hate them because inevitably the audience of three sides of the arena will either be looking at her back or not seeing her at all unless it's through a screen. It's also very tiring for her to be walking around the stage and up and down the arms, not to mention costume changes are more difficult. Celine may have tons of energy but even she must get tired after so many shows.

I think the best option would have been the end stage with a catwalk down the middle so she could reach fans that are at the other end of the arena.
