Well, he said on the radio this AM that he's interested to know about the new musical direction she's taking (if any); whether we can expect to see risk-taker Fashion Celine reflected in her music.

Plus he also committed to asking what she thinks of RC's rapping.😊

He was really good with her last time so lets see if he can replicate that

As long as he doesn’t ask her how she feels being 51, and the boss! :)

Any idea when his interview will be released did he talked about that?

I know he has written many articles about her, but did he also interviewed her before?

He's been interviewing her for decades...

And no, didn't talk about timing.

That interview with ET Canada was so pointless. I usually don't say this about an interview, because every interview usually has some purpose or story, but this was literally a waste of time. Other than Celine looking incredibly fabulous, we learned nothing. Don't get me wrong. I am very thankful that we got this beautiful dress and makeup job caught on camera. Celine looks so statuesque and gorgeous, but she's on set of a music video or whatever that Mars thing is and yet we learn nothing about it?

The album is being released in Nov, but when in Nov? We don't know that yet and it truly baffles me. Something as simple as an album release date hasn't been officially revealed yet and the album will be out in about 2 months time. Everything is all upside down when it comes to this album. The tour is called The Courage World Tour. The album is called Courage, yet the tour is happening before the albums release? That in itself makes zero sense to me. :wtf:

That would especially annoy me if I were seeing her tour before the albums release. I wouldn't want to hear new songs from the album for the very first time on tour and not hearing the in studio version first. I would prefer to get to know the songs, learn the lyrics and hear them in there best recorded form first.

It makes all the difference in the world to get to know a song before hearing it Live. That way you can recognize it and get excited for it when hearing it on tour, instead of being like Oh, what is this song and not knowing any of the lyrics. I also would not want to her a Live version before hearing the recorded version.

I am also thinking that all the fans who see her tour before the album release has to be seeing a slightly different show, because I would think that they wouldn't want to reveal too many new material before the album release. None of this makes any sense to me. :hmm: I hope we finally find out the album release date in her next upcoming interview anyways.

Why do you need to know the precise release date more than 2 months in advance? Do you have to book a day off work to add it to your Spotify playlist?

Oh I loved hearing songs live for the first time! Ordinaire was sooo good then.

But I got used to the live version so hearing the studio version a few weeks later was very weird though.

Very good and relevant questions! The ones WE would ask 😍. Is he member here??

However we all know what her answer will be:

*bursts out singing* "What do you saaaay to Taking Chaaances?!" *pounds chest, makes a goofy expression for the camera, and that's that*

I will not be adding anything to a playlist. I am old school. I will be going out and personally buying the album thank you very much. :) Celine's album release dates are like Christmas for me. As soon as I know the exact date, that's when I start the big countdown. Call me corny, lame, old school, behind with the times or whatever but that's just how I roll.

Good questions indeed, but if her answers will be relevant that's the BIG question :giggle:

It's new, fresh, fun, new sound, not being different, still me, exciting, different feelings.

I bet her answer will include any off these above :P

So funny how we love and get annoyed by her

I bet the only way to get relevant and precise answers out of her would be if the interviewer played with matches around Pepe's next outfit for her.

Indeed! I looooved hearing LMBTL and ALPHB live first (although from bootleg). Sadly the studio versions lacked all of the magic they had live somehow (though the studio versions are not BAD, only those bootleg videos were better in some odd way).

And besides: how do we expect her to perform fan favourites (which the general audience has never heard) if we hard core fans can't stand the fact of hearing a song of hers live which we have never heard?

I simply don't get all the panicing about the tour starting before the album release. If anything that would add more exitement and surprise to the shows prior to the album release.... with an exclusive feel. But maybe that's just me.

Looking forward to more interviews in the coming months. I assume she'll never do the amount of interviews we used to get -- but I hope we get some quality ones! I feel like Celine just needs a few minutes to settle into the energy of whoever's interviewing her. They should ask her a few warm up questions before asking the good stuff!

I remember the woman who was asking her questions at the ACE Hotel didn't know how to handle Celine's energy. But there ARE people out there who know how to navigate those tricky waters and get some quality answers. Deborah Roberts is the best we've got these days.

Boy do I miss the Oprah / Rosie O days.

So excited for all that's coming our way!!! I can't get over how stunning she looks in that red dress. Greatest singer alive AND a fashion icon. We are lucky.

And this woman was fantastic with Celine! Granted, this was light and fluffy but she knows how to work with Celine.

"Needed in the chaos and confusion, from the plains to City Hall

Needed where the proud who walk the wire are set to fall"

Well, Marc, Garou, Coeur de Pirate are all judges on the coming season of La Voix, so presumably none of them will be opening.

Nothing against Veronic, but I really don't want an impersonator again...there is so much young talent that Celine could showcase. Established artists did that for her in the early days; I wish she would pay it forward.

Veronic actually has shows at Le Capitol from Sept 5th to 22nd so I don't see her opening. Now if Marc opened I may have a meltdown as I have always wanted to see him in concert.

All I've really seen from him were the bits where he brought out the kids (like Stella

, here,
or
, and Anthony
or
). Imagine if he brought out Rene's grandkids to help him open for Celine!

Still not confirmed. They only quoted the Red Heads, who got their info from another unconfirmed source.

Yes, it just like the possibility about giving shows in Israel and Romania

I guess around this month they build other European dates.

After all, I hope this Tour is going to be unique

and that she visit as much new countries as possible.

Well, it was posted on the Sony / Columbia site, though seems it's no longer there.

Oh yeah I miss some great long in depth interviews.

This one was great as well, I really think celine isn't allowed to give away much about the tour or the new album.

That's why the answers are the same and she is very looking for words.

This one her she could answer anything and it flows much better.

And, euhm 'are you gonna be at the party in London' what happend to that? :giggle:

These are great news! I’m looking forward to knowing more about it!

I’m still surprised that tickets for the last US dates haven’t been on sale yet though...

I think they're going to try to leverage the promo around tour start and album release interviews, which is why they've waited to release those for sale.

She didn't mean a literal party. She meant the London concert. As in, "Are you coming to the BST show".

Too bad Barbara Walters retired. I loved the way she would ask Céline questions directly and with such coldness, with a straight face. Céline had no way of dodging her questions, like when she asked her simply “there are rumors that you’re anorexic”. Anyone else would’ve said “some people who say you look a bit thinner”.

However, we still have Larry King who also knew how to get answers from Céline. Even when Céline answered with useless answers, he would continue pushing until Céline gave a good answer. I really hope she does an interview with him again.

I hope so. I think that’s really great to have as much family being Celine’s or Rene’s around her as possible. Patrick did a great job in the past working alongside Michel. I wonder why he left Vegas and working with Celine after René passed? Maybe he decided to return home near his family after his father was no longer there?

Did he really leave Vegas? I’m pretty sure I saw him in Céline’s dressing room in 2018 or 2017.

If Barara still had her show, these days, I can't imagine Celine going to her knowing the questions

she will get. Also, with the level of stupid questions she got for all the last interviews

I have no doubt, questions are orchestrated and approved by her.

I've read Larry is very ill, have no idea if any real jouranlist left in order

to get great interviews with her.
