There are still over 1000 unsold tickets on ticketmaster for the opening night, does anybody know if those remaining unsold tickets are gonna get discounted ? Edited by GoldenLeaf

From what I read, Fans who were waiting to see Celine when she entered in car to the venue

was with her son, this time she didn't stop to greet.

Hope they have a better luck for the next time.

I have no source since those are comments on FB groups.

On a side note, saw a recent photo of Maman Dion published on The red heads

quite worried for her wishing for her well.

Firstly, i am still shocked some of you still deny sth is wrong.

Secondly, even Celine's team has noticed that because if you take a closer look every other row in the last blocks on the floor have been taken OUT if you compare the seating chart and the picture. And this is even more disturbing because they prefer to take out the seats rather than to promote more. And Yes, it might become sold-out if they lower the overall seat numbers..... just saying.

And there is no need to copy more printscreens if you only contradict me but one of my "favourites" in a bad way is Newark. Finally, please bear in mind that never do they put ALL the tickets on sale since the beginning and even more tickets could be released.

Yeah.. fhe. Newark prudential center should not be a worry, it’s literally 6 months to that show, it’ll be sold out when the time comes.

What makes me laugh is how overly dramatic and low-key crazy you sound. I mean, yall think promo is the only way they sell out, TCWT had huge promo and it was the worst performing tour (sell out per venue wise) of her career, blocks of seats left everywhere with like 10/13,000 seats sold in 16,000 seat arenas... so calm it

Posted (edited)

She should've done some promo for the tour. So it's their own "fault".

But if they don't care, I don't care either :flowers:

We'll get to see her live anyway

Rows haven't been taken out. There are 9 rows visible in that picture that reach about the mid point of the mix area, if you count the number of rows in the first map you posted you'll see there are exactly 9 rows at the mid point of the mix area.

In addition, those are fold down chairs which means they need to leave enough room so that when you pull down the seat there's still enough walking room between each row.

Plus to be honest those are not the greatest seats. You have everyone in front of you and on same level. That will be watching the screens

Why are you so fixated on how many tickets are still unsold instead of how many ARE sold? I suggest you wait until after the shows and see how many seats were actually unsold. If I were you, I wouldn't worry. She is selling quite well for someone who has been doing this for over 30 years. Many singers would love to sell that many tickets on a consistent basis (Vegas and tours). Edited by Xpresso

Oh course the Pope (of the inner circle cult) should open for our one and only savior Céline! Hopes he wears a tall hat like the one in the vatican wears.

Pope :mdr: :mdr: :mdr:

Here SHE looks like the Pope greeting from his car :P

Pepe will become Popeye if he keeps working out that much... Pepeye :-D :giggle:

And still we are so lucky.

If you go to Cher you will see the same stage she used for her farewell tour back in the 70's, with the same setlist + 1 new song.

Just read that Madonna has a complete ban on cameras, mobile phones etc for her tour. Imagine Celine doing that, we would still know nothing about this tour haha

I don’t want this to sound rude, but...

You need to get a life. One that doesn’t revolve around obsessing over a pop singer’s ticket-sales-to-capacity ratio.

why do people always insult other members if they do not share a positive opinion.

if some here post EACH concert, EACH date with tickets EXACT numbers estimated which are sold along with PERCENTAGE of capacity, then it is praised and everything is fine because it is a success. Even though they are not right.

But if you share a comment about ONE date, you are accused of having no life.

Seriously no wonder why so many have left this forum

Isn't that an French tv channel?

Lots of media going to Celine, wonder if it's for the 'European' tour, or for the album in November.

Hope that one day 1 of these interviews have a bit more info than what we already have.

Looks like BFMTV is off to interview her as well (see stories):https://www.instagram.com/candice_mahout/

Nah, I can understand why people still care for this aspect while being to other Tours of her.

It shows love and care you know :bye1:

There is still people here that do care for the kind of information you post

and this kind of info has to do with reality that let's face it, became a thing to ignore of

regarding the aspects of her career.

The personal approach toward other memebers is lame, stupid and childish

please ignore it.

When your post is more “hysterical conspiracy” than “opinion”, you should brace yourself for sensational replies in return.

You said that sales for this tour are so poor, that “they” (who... the inner circle? Ticketmaster? The venues? Céline herself?) are removing rows of seats to make it appear they are closer to selling out. Utterly ridiculous. Perhaps that’s why people have “left the forum” as you claim.

because the only pôsts that some share are negative ones. And this is the majority for a time. This is why so many have left.

Because they dont appear once a month to spread hysterical nonsense with conspiracy theorys, insulting others intelligence and posting the same 2 or 3 dates (because you know as well as others do, 95% of the dates have sold extremely well, especially in the US.) to prove some sort of point / act as if shes a touring flop and that this tour is a flop... maybe thats why

Maybe wait until the show happens, we see what numbers are like and even better, wait for billboard boxscores before making judgements

Cher’s Farewell Tour was in 2002-2005 but I do completely agree. Céline actually changes her setlist quite often and is sometimes even creative with it.

1. Newark is still almost 6 months away and they had to add a second show there anyway so I really don’t think it’s selling that bad.

2. Céline is one of the very few artists who have been around for decades and who still sell-out huge arenas and stadium tours. There are younger artists who used to be big but now can barely sell a few theatre shows (Mariah, Christina, etc...). I think Céline is in a very good situation right now.

Chers been doing farewell tours since she came out lol

But its true, Chers current tour minus the abba songs is exactly the same as her Believe! Tour in 1999/2000 lol

I love that Céline is making all these international journos come to QC to talk to her! 😁 Power move and great for the province.

She has always done this, before it was Vegas.

She won’t travel to promote a tour and album lol, but she will for a fashion show!!! Lol

Just joking it’s true but a joke, I had too! :)

I know, and that's the point. Not many can do this. But Celine has that kind of leverage.

However, sending a journalist to Quebec, Canada is way more impressive than making them go to Las Vegas, a place in which no doubt they go to often for various reasons and events both for work and pleasure.

I'm sure. It makes sense to leverage all the press associated with tour start to concurrently open up further dates.
