Collaboration with NUNUNU: Célinununu

These people are also the ones who were attacking her a while ago for things she had never said or done, and they didn't even bother to search if it was true. I mean even most of the people who are saying things like "I used to be a fan but not anymore" weren't really fans, many of them use it as a tactic. That being said obviously she alienated some people but it's not as serious as the number of the negative comments make it seem. Those people live for conspiracy theories lmao

I really saw a woman say she has never bought anything from Celine but she'll boycott her. Like, that's not how boycott works

Well i am sorry but i am not a believer or a illuminati whatever..but having seen all these pics..i am like...celine go on with your genderneutral clothingline but with another normal brand

"Find your own individuality": for me signify go to the voice of your heart ..... Find yourself hobby- work that will fill you ....

be creative, emphatic, respect others as well as respect yourself - start working - learn, (art, literature, econnomics, cooking, fashion, psychology, whatever you fill with happiness with self-esteem .....

This kind of design concept - sad, gray, gloomy, dark -

children do not smile on photos - they do not express any feelings - "it's poker face"

skulls for children's clothing and other symbols.

An open mind means reading between lines - really learning, looking for options ............. helping people who are in need ..

so that children do not suffer from poverty, hunger, not being abused ...

I do not understand all this buzz around this campaign, it's just defending the product, the clothes, to market it, there is no reason for so much pressure, come on, I looked at the clothes, I found the clothes beautiful and modern, yes for children , have eyes and hands, numbers, yes, but are only prints and make them look more modern, I found the clothes very cool, if I had children I would buy.

I don't what's worse.... people coming up with all these theories/nonsense, or the people actually believing & defending it.

Just like the whole Trump thing.

Ppl obviously don't have anything else to do and obviously didn't go through hard phases because they didn't feel fitting in to judge negatively or to elaborate theories.

It's a positive message and f*** the rest.

It's a nice way to clean her audience 😁

The message is nothing wrong with, a very good cause but Nununu how it represents itself, that is where the people are not so happy with

I would never dress my kids in that clothing NOT because hey are gender neutral, but rather because in my opinion the clothes have a dark vibe going on that goes deeper than black and white clothes.

To each their own, but I’d never put skulls on my new born baby or a giant creepy eye, etc.

I understand and like Celine’s stance and position but let’s be real at least in my opinion, the clothes are dark & HIDEOUS.

I like bright colors and animals or light hearted things to be on the kids clothing, but everyones different.

Exactly! I don’t mind the message but I do not find the clothing appealing at all! Is it because it’s winter that this line, her line, is sooooo drab and gloomy? I still say I can’t believe she would dress her infant, baby like this. Well, going by all the pics we have seen of all three when they were babies she didn’t. Now when your child is 3, 4 or 5 then I can see them saying yes to some of the clothing.

And wth is with those “stuffed” toys????? Creepy much?

Lots of creepy in that line, sorry.

What happened to yellows and greens as unisex colors, why skulls all of a sudden for kids?

My thoughts exactly about these designs lol -_-

First reaction when I saw all those big skulls on the babies was WTF?!?? And I mean BIG skulls, it's not like they're discreetly inserted on the clothing, it's that they're huuuge skulls right in the center of the little jumpers and such :whee:

Then the black and white design. Hmmm really? For children and babies, who are taught 24/7 to be drawing an using colours for everything? And doesn't this method sound familiar? Remember all the myriad of consecutive album covers we've got in b/w since 2005?? The story goes on now with clothing

Who on Earth would dress their babies like this?? Whoever likes this for a baby or a children needs some medical checkup sorry. It's not just dark, it's even creepy. Did she design all this on Halloween night or something? Because I would definitely find these very suitable to dress my children for a Halloween night or a themed party in Carnival. I would find these spot-on. I would certainly NOT take my children to the park or the playground dressed with all these skulls on them, and in black or grey, as if they were just released from Auschwitz 70 years ago. Look at them, they only need some stripes on them and voilà! The poor babies wearing these :hmm:

It's like someone bitter inside her team said, how can I screw up Céline's next project in fashion for children? Oh, let's put some creepy themes on the clothes. You know, it's the same way they've been doing with her music career, the way they've ruined her album's promotion sending the worst singles to radios? Like when they sent GTSW to radios, how can we ruin one of her best album performances in radios and acceptance among the audience? Bingo, let's send the worst single material to radios -_- So seems they thought the same method with this new project lol

Like someone said, there's something else here. I don't believe Céline voluntarily chose to dress babies in this dark, obscure, black&white way. I refuse to believe it was her. I do think this was all set and done beforehand and she was proposed to sponsor the brand and she just jumped to the wagon (as usually), but she couldn't design these clothes

And this has absolutely nothing to do with unisex purposes and gender equality. I would enthusiastically applaud if we had seen some little boys dressed in pink with some flowers and little girls in blue or something similar breaking the norm, but black and white clothes and skulls, really? There's no need to dresss a baby with big skulls on him, thank you. This looks as some obscure project directly related with death :giggle:

The black sheep inside her team keeps working hard... :P  :whee:

I wonder if the black sheep sleeps at night in a skull onesie lol

I’m sorry but after looking at the DESIGNS on the clothes I can see why some people on the internet are linking it to Illuminati; it really does seem like a lot of hidden messages going on. I don’t think it’s deliberate on Celine’s part but rather she seems like she added her name on the project before she saw the designs. The idea of gender equality is a GREAT idea, I don’t have any problem with that! I have a problem with this line, it’s dark, depressing and weird. I know some people will say it’s art, maybe so but how does anyone put skulls on their new born baby or a huge creepy eye, or the literal words, “NEW ORDER” ?

I don’t like nunununu’s way of expression; if she wanted to do this she should’ve partnered with a department store like Macy’s or Carter’s for children’s clothes, she could’ve designed unisex clothes and kept the creepy theme out of it. Just my thoughts.

I think she should cut her loses with this line and move on to the next project. Something more lighthearted.

Everything is a matter of personal taste, they are clothes, some people like it and others do not, I like, I would wear my son like that, maybe people do not like the colors, the figures, but I do not see anything much, as I said, some like it and others no, personal taste is not discussed.

I liked the clothes.

PEOPLE! WE NEED TO HELP CÉLINE!

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYAG86s1IBVFoNF0GZUJ6Fw

ON OFFICIAL CHANNEL FOR CELINUNUNU, a lot of people are dislike and making bad comments about Céline and her new brand.

We need to go there and Like all the videos.

I love Celine, but I’m sitting this one out... this line freaks me out.

The message they are trying to achieve is good, love the idea of unisex and for gender equality; however these designs are creepy and dark.

Hello guys, :-)

After a long time I decided to actually contribute with my opinion ... as I was lately reading through the forum feeds and I just get annoyed with such a negativity which comes from some of you ... I needed to reset my password as I never remember it ahahahhaha.

Well what I thin (my opinion):

Guys please .. you all trying to see some unnecessary deep menaing in things which are just simple.

I actually Love what Celine doin lately .. getting out of the comfort zone and doing something different... Everyone who is trying to do different things are usually criticized (normally by someone who done for humanity/society nothing at all). You all say that those designs are creepy .. they are NOT AT ALL ... just because someone said that boys have to wear blue and girls have to wear pink doesnt make it any more right than if Celine thinks that it would be cool to share some cool and different taste in fashion. I foud it veeeery cool and funky and actually I am very impressed even with the amount of followers which Celinununu is getting so quickly. (Many celebrities included) ... Guys, I think the message is ... lets keep positive about Celine's and our future and do not find the "bugs" where the actually are none :)

With love to everyone

David

It’s the people’s opinion if they feel that way towards the product. If that’s what they think then we can’t make them change their minds.

Celine knew exactly what she was doing. And she knew she was going to get bad critics. So lets all just chill.

On my side, i don’t like this move. Kids go through sooo many phases.... like me for exemple, i wore some high heels, wore my sisters clothes at very young age. I’m glad my parents weren’t impressed with this. They didn’t punished me at all. But I’m glad that they didn’t tell me “hey you look amazing, why don’t you wear this all the time if you want!?”

I might be gay today, but i’m a man, i like my male gender identity, and that is ok. i have no desire of wearing women clothing and thank god cause i’m super happy this way. I just wonder what would have happened to me if my parents for wanting to be “cool” would have pushed me into the idea of gender neutrality.

I wish the gender identity issue that the 0.1% LGBTQXYZ keeps bringing up would stop imposing their ideology onto the 99.9 % of the society that has no problem with the idea of having a gender identity. Remember that 99.9% of the society were born male or female, 2 very distinct human beings biologically speaking.

On that note, I’m still Celine’s number 1 fan 😂 can’t wait for the album to come out!

no they are speading the truth , as they see it. I'm just surprised at the number of people who are believing in those things. I had a phase , when i was youger , that it interested me, without believing it . Now , i find it funny, I mean , what can a person do .
Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

Everyone who thinks it's about forcing kids into something of imposing something onto society is missing the point entirely.

It's 100% the opposite:

Let kids explore who they are. Don't tell them who they are, let them tell you.

And all those people talking about the 'dark, 'occult', 'demonic' aspects...this is not the 10th century, jesus...

OMG ... 🙏🏼🙌🏼AMEN

My parents raised me as JW and therefore it took me soooo long until I actually have been able to find myself, what I want, and what’s my purpose.

Who said that sculls are dark or demonic? That’s jus f****g society who force us to like what is more convenient.

Celine is finally having her time and gives peak of her identity and as her fan I will accept it (I actually love it)

If someone’s complaining about old style Saint Celine it means that you actually loved only a business and marketing creation of 90’s needs.

Here's an interesting article on the benefits of black and white & geometric shapes on infants brain development.

http://www.huggamind.com/highcontrast.php

I don't know if this might be one reason behind the black and white design but it's clearly not harmful or a dark choice. It's metaphorical imo, plus she's not trying to say that parents should only dress their kids in black and white (or just dress them with celinununu/nununu), that's just what her brand offers.

The designs on her line right now are all previous Nununu designs, there isn't anything there that Celine designed herself. The most I think she did was maybe pick the designs she'd start off with. While I don't find the designs troubling like others I do understand it's not everyone's cup of tea (certain pieces specifically), I'm wondering if her future releases will be something more people can easily accept. More so, I wonder if Celine will design herself.

The crazies that found this campaign are intense, fanatics as someone else here called them, and it's unfortunate that they have twisted this campaign into something it isn't. Hopefully it'll pass.

She's getting positive reception in most fashion blogs, even some parental blogs, so I think she'll be fine once these people move onto someone/something else. Everything was fine until (the fire nation attacked lol) the conspiracy fanatics and super religious saw the commercial.

The idea is there but I feel the concept isn’t as good as it could be.

Celine wants to let people to allow the children to choose...Okay that’s fine, why not design some boy clothing in pink and some girl clothing in blue? That would kill the stigma; What’s not needed is skulls or freaky giant eyes, or the words “ new order”, lol... I support the cause but not the designs, everyone is entitled to their own opinion more power to those who would dress their kids in that stuff, I however even tho a huge Celine Dion FAN won’t.

That stuff is just weird and it’s what makes the line “dark” more than the actual black and white color schemes

But who knows I’m sure the same person who decided that the last 4 English albums covers in B&W was a good idea too help to choose the designs lol
