hi there, do you mean "CLUES"?? sorry its just your posts is saying "GLUES" instead of clues, so i am just making sure that is what you are saying lol...

 

& about the contestant "popcorn" (who you think/thought was celine) - did you see this past wednesdays premiere episode?? well one of the contestants to perform was "POPCORN", she performed "what about us" by pink - & sorry to disappoint you - but judging by the sound of "popcorns" singing voice, while it was really good (@ least i thought it was,) it is NOT CELINES VOICE... it is a completely DIFFERENT sounding voice than celines is!! too deep & raspy to be celines voice, again so sorry!!

 

to me, "popcorn" sounds like it could be either TAYLOR DAYNE, TINA TURNER, GLADYS KNIGHT, OR CYNDI LAUPER singing, judging by the voice of "popcorn"... & also judging by the second set of clues: the first one: "popcorn" grew up in NEW YORK CITY, (which we all know celine DID NOT grow up in NYC, she grew up in the country in quebec, & plus whoever is "popcorn" has a very THICK "new york accent", which celine also does not have, celines accent is french not new yorkish,) & also the other clues: "meatloaf", "meeting royalty", "hoop earrings", "proud merry-go-round", & "tiger on the bed" - again i really DO NOT see celine in any of those clues... & plus like i said, once you hear the SINGING VOICE, the "popcorn" contestant DOES NOT sound like celine, sorry...

I was just having a little fun guessing from those first clues with the gold hand on the makeup table. I knew it wasn't her from the body type. Popcorn has nice legs, but not as skinny and long as Celine's. I also knew as soon as she opened her mouth to sing. Popcorn has a nice voice, but it's totally different than Celine's.

Seeing the sad news about Chrissy Teigen and John Legend losing their baby really makes me appreciate how she, and other public figures who have been open about their miscarriages, have made it acceptable to grieve and made the experience easier for so many others by doing so.

Celine was really one of the first, if not the first, major name to really talk about it openly, just like she did about her IVF, and that made a big difference for a lot of people. A tangible difference, actually, after her outspokenness about it was in part what led to the Quebec government subsidizing IVF treatments. She really deserves more credit than she gets for making it all less taboo. Thank you, Celine.

you are very welcome! 😊❤ & after watching the last few weeks, i have the "POPCORN" character figured out:

 

it is 100% TAYLOR DAYNE who is in the "popcorn" costume!! the famous female singer of the songs "tell it to my heart", "love will lead you back", & "i'll always love you" back in the late 80s & early 90s, & also best known for singing with the singer MEATLOAF on the song "i will do anything for love (but i won't do that")...

 

as soon as i heard "popcorn" sing on the premiere night a few weeks ago (she sang "what about us" by pink,) & i just knew RIGHT AWAY it was taylor dayne singing!! i grew up listening to her music back when i was a little kid (& i used to own a few cassette tapes of taylor daynes back in the day lol... now i have a few of her songs in my itunes & amazon music collections (along WITH SONGS FROM CELINE of course!!)

 

i will post comparison videos in case you or anybody else is interested... & did you see this weeks episode?? "popcorn" NAILED IT again with her performance!! i think she might win this season hands down!! (between "popcorn" & "sun", who i think is LEANN RIMES (the singing from the character "sun" sounds JUST LIKE leann rimes!! i think "POPCORN" & "SUN" are 2 of the BEST SINGERS on "the masked singer" this season!! in my opinion of course lol!!)

oh yea there is also a video that was posted recently on this forum (& i have also found a written article version of it as well - it is called "THE UNTOLD TRUTH OF CELINE DION"...

 

& i remember mentioned in the article (& video,) that "CELINE HATES ALL TV REALITY SHOWS" & does not even watch them or wants to be involved in them (& the ONLY exceptions are obviously when she does the "ONE-OFF" appearances & performances to promote a new album, new song, concert tour, las vegas residency, etc we know the appearances/performances are for promotional purposes, like when she sang on "the voice", "dancing with the stars", etc, or she appeared (albeit briefly) on "deal or no deal", "x factor", etc...)

 

but other than those few appearances/performances in between over the years (especially when celine does do promotion, we know it is usually on talk shows or for radio/print interviewers anyway, thats her "tried-&-true formula" for the past 30+ years now, we as fans all know that,) celine has shown NO DESIRES to compete on any reality tv shows, to appear on any show for more than just being a typical guest/performer, that is unfortunately why we as fans will NEVER see our celine on these kind of shows such as "dancing with the stars", "the masked singer", etc because celine has admitted she dislikes these kinds of shows, so the chance of seeing her competing on any of these shows @ this point are 0.00000%!

 

sorry i hate being a "debby downer" about this, as i really do miss celine as much as you & the rest of this forum does too, trust me i do! in fact sometimes i will admit that I HAVE DREAMED about celine competing on "DANCING WITH THE STARS" & "THE MASKED SINGER", 🤞❤ especially during the pandemic, (& yea i have also dreamed about celine competing on a few other shows from the past which are NOT even currently on the air anymore lol, i know VERY UNREALISTIC, but hey its my dreams lol!) & I SECRETLY WISH THAT MY DREAMS WOULD COME TRUE TOO! but alas, its not gonna happen, @ least not with celine anyway... 😔😒

Is she going to hide out until the pandemic is over / everyone is vaccinated / and reemerge when the Courage tour begins again?

 

She's certainly entitled to rest after so many years of nonstop performing. I'm just curious if she or her team will do anything. Like release a new music video, or a rare song, or a rare performance, or a holiday song, or a holiday performance, or appear on a talk show from her home, or anything...

 

I also wonder who runs her social media? I have so many questions about who her team is these days and who's working towards keeping up the image of Celine Dion.

I would imagine, from the little I can gather about Celine from following her over the years, that she's taken what's happening as an opportunity that she never gets - to slow down. She's constantly go go go go go go go go go go go go go go. For years, decades at a time. The chance for her to get time off like this rarely comes along so I image she's embracing it whole-heartedly. I doubt that we'll get anything during the pandemic. When it's over, she'll probably continue the CWT because she has a contract and we know, from all the Vegas postponements, that she honors her contracts. I could be completely 100% wrong but that's how I see things right now.

Personally, I’m not surprised she’s gone off radar. As Couldawouldashoulda pointed out, Céline has always been working unless A) she was trying to get pregnant or B.) she was taking care of René. I can understand why she doesn’t want to schedule appearances and interviews and whatnot, because that would be work. And as she said in a long-ago interview: when she has to be “on” for the public, she’ll be out there signing autographs until her hands fall off (I’m paraphrasing). But if she doesn’t feel like that, she stays home. Sounds like she’s just not into it right now.

 

What baffles me is that—for someone who constantly declares how much she loves performing for people—she hasn’t had the itch to film a little one-off performance for the fans (like “Winter Song” for example).

 

It’s hard to imagine that she hasn’t been singing at all or, at the very least, discovered some new cover song that she can’t wait to share with the world.

So the whole business side of the tour is something we, as fans, don't think about as much. She wants her "employees" to be taken care of.

 

That's why I would love for her TEAM to step up and keep us fans happy and engaged. They can do more than post a few pictures.

I don't think it's the actual act of performing that she loves so much.

She loves the effect she has on people, she loves the thrill when the crowd goes wild.

That's hard to reproduce without a live audience.

Yawn. Who said we want something new? She could literally perform one of the songs from Courage and share it with us---how about one of the songs that would never otherwise be performed in her life?

 

And let's not pretend the pandemic is the same for someone who is literally so rich that she doesn't need to work a day in her life. Quarantining at your palace estate is far different from quarantining in your apartment and working on a computer the entire day.

 

I am a promoter of empathy, of course, but I get so incensed by people claiming we ask too much of Celine. What is singing for two minutes every two weeks really asking of her? For goodness' sake. For all we know, the picture of her hiking was an old set of pictures as well.
