Anyone think that Celine could be on the new season of The Masked Singer? This season is the only real time she would have to devote to it cuz of Covid19 and all. I saw the sneak preview episode of the new season tonight and the first celebrity on there was dressed in a stripped dress and her clues were a makeup table with perfume on it, a gold hand and she said the word Miracle in her clue. Hmmm. Could it be?

 

excuse me sorry to ask this, but i have been trying to find any videos on youtube that mentions the costume you are talking that you think MIGHT BE CELINE & mentioning the clues... & i had watched quite a few of the costumes & clues of the "sneak previews", but I DID NOT SEE any that could be celine or had any of the clues you have mentioned in your post...

 

so can you PLEASE POST THAT VIDEO FOR US? thank you so much! hopefully you are right about celine being on "the masked singer"... but like i said in my previous post, disguising celines beautiful & easily-recognized voice will be a VERY DIFFICULT task! 😯👍

I don’t believe she had a ponytail in this picture. Her hair was short when FIY came out, presumably even shorter when the photo shoot took place. I think her hair here is like in one of the pics posted above (the one on the right).

Yes, it was either clipped back without ponytail or just was naturally short, but I really love her hair and look here

now i have just read an article online about "VIRTUAL CONCERTS" BEING THE NEW NORMAL! (basically we can watch concerts on the internet just like with the sports games judging by this article...) not forever, but for a while with the coronavirus going on until regular concerts eventually comes back... here is the link to it:

now i do realize that celine is not into doing "concerts from home"... but if she really wants to "STILL PERFORM on stage" like she still says she loves to do, then the VIRTUAL CONCERTS might be the ONLY avenue for celine during this time (just like EVERY artist/band also has to consider during this pandemic,) until regular concerts are eventually back... because @ this rate, unless a MIRACLE happens & somebody finds a cure/treatment/vaccines that works against the virus & gets rid of it, we wont be seeing concerts or other live events until @ least 2023 - 2024 @ the EARLIEST... sorry but thats just the truth, im not trying to be negative, but trying to be REALISTIC & facing facts! i pray every night for this virus to go away! i would love to see celine in concert someday too, (i had a celine show cancelled too back in march,) but i do not want to risk my life or the lives of my family, friends, co-workers, the kids @ work, & everybody else i know in order to go see a show!

Sorry. I don't know how to post videos, but it's literally the very first costume shown in the preview episode of the new season of The Masked Singer. The costume is a popcorn bucket dress with red and white stripes. It shows the glues right at the start of the preview episode. It shows them pretty fast though, so you really have to pay attention to notice the glues, but I saw a makeup table and mirror with lights around it, a refection of costumes on hangers in the mirror and a gold hand that looked very similar to Rene's golden hand sitting on the table. There was also perfume bottles and a picture of a cow on the mirror.

 

Other than the picture of the cow on the mirror, a lot of those clues point to Celine. I honestly don't think it's Celine though, because the legs don't look like hers and I can't detect an accent of any kind. I know they disguise the voices of the masked celebrities with auto tune, but usually that still won't hide an accent. I am still intrigued anyways. I feel like it would pretty much be impossible to hide her iconic voice, but anythings possible when it comes to Celine. Her talents are endless. LOL

 

Edit: I forgot to mention another part of the glue package. I think I mentioned it in my last post, but she even emphasized the word Miracle in her glue package when she was talking during the glue segment. Not saying it's Celine, but a lot of the glues are sure pointing in her direction. Hmm.

As an answer to this, in addition to legal actions because I doubt that Sony has authorized the use of Celine's songs at these events... Sony Music should/must release the music video for Lying Down!

Can someone help me? I am trying to find the clip of the TV show where Celine goes on a French-speaking singing competition as a guest/mentor (I think in the Taking Chances/D'elles Era but could be 2009 or 2010 too)..... and they show her doing a rehearsal and she is singing "Last Dance" by Donna Summer.

I don't think her hair was really dyed red in that picture. It's dark brown, or medium brown, but they photoshopped her hair to a lighter red color. If you look at the rest of the pictures from the booklet, in all of them she has the same hairstyle, just with dark hair. I've always wondered why they did that though. I love the picture regardless, and the whole red color suits her, but I don't think she ever really had red hair.

I agree - it always looked photoshopped to me, and we never saw pics of her red hair any other time. That era started with dark brown, then she got the light brown/blonde “Rachel” hair.

It's an easy comparison to make - big voice, French/ English bilingual, though in her case also a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and an Arabic speaker as well. She did the

some time back.

 

She's still a full-time engineering student and only does the music thing when on breaks from uni (like when she opened for Babs at BST Hyde Park that same year Celine was there), but I think once she graduates, she's poised for stardom. Already has a huge social media following and streaming presence. .

& about the contestant "popcorn" (who you think/thought was celine) - did you see this past wednesdays premiere episode?? well one of the contestants to perform was "POPCORN", she performed "what about us" by pink - & sorry to disappoint you - but judging by the sound of "popcorns" singing voice, while it was really good (@ least i thought it was,) it is NOT CELINES VOICE... it is a completely DIFFERENT sounding voice than celines is!! too deep & raspy to be celines voice, again so sorry!!

 

to me, "popcorn" sounds like it could be either TAYLOR DAYNE, TINA TURNER, GLADYS KNIGHT, OR CYNDI LAUPER singing, judging by the voice of "popcorn"... & also judging by the second set of clues: the first one: "popcorn" grew up in NEW YORK CITY, (which we all know celine DID NOT grow up in NYC, she grew up in the country in quebec, & plus whoever is "popcorn" has a very THICK "new york accent", which celine also does not have, celines accent is french not new yorkish,) & also the other clues: "meatloaf", "meeting royalty", "hoop earrings", "proud merry-go-round", & "tiger on the bed" - again i really DO NOT see celine in any of those clues... & plus like i said, once you hear the SINGING VOICE, the "popcorn" contestant DOES NOT sound like celine, sorry...

OMGGGG i have just watched this part of the episode of "the masked singer" with the character "POPCORN" a few more times (even though it is DEFINETELY NOT OUR CELINE, i think the singer is GREAT!!) & i have noticed after paying more closely attention to both the singing & "popcorns" movement & dancing on the stage, that "POPCORN" IS 100% TAYLOR DAYNE!!!!!!

see i am NOT STUPID OR A LIAR unlike some other people on this forum who called me those awful names AHEM **cough cough** "MANU23" & "CHANTEMOI" AHEM **cough cough** on other threads when i tried to explain to them (& also along with SEVERAL other forum members such as "COULDAWOULDASHOULDA" & "NUTS2YOU" among others as well who 100% agree with me & WITH SCIENCE on this,) that the coronavirus is 100% REAL & NOT MADE UP & is not a ridicolous "government conspiracy theory" or some other crap like that... & now with other NUMEROUS articles also stating about concerts, festivals, etc being postponed AGAIN because of the virus, & neither of those 2 jerks want to admit that i was RIGHT (& several other members as well,) about the whole situation with the coronavirus & those jerks were WRONG!!!!!! well as they say, LIVE & LEARN lol...

with all due respect, I think you are overreacting with all of the caps and exclamation parts. Tranquility!

 

& besides do you really think that 90% (or more) people on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER, SNAPCHAT, etc (all social media platforms that have a MILLION TIMES more active than this forum does,) WORRY ABOUT "PERFECT GRAMMAR"?? HECK NO!! most people outside of their jobs or schoolwork DONT CARE ABOUT PERFECT GRAMMAR OR A FEW TYPOS!! so why would you stress yourself SO MUCH about it?? there are a MILLION MORE HORRIBLE THINGS going on in the world & more to worry about than stupud grammar on forums & social media!!

 

sorry i am NOT PUTTING THIS FORUM DOWN, sorry if it sounded like i was, because i like the forum so far... but its just that "THE GRAMMAR POLICE" TYPE OF PEOPLE GET ON MY NERVES... no offense sorry, but i am NOT WORRYING ABOUT "SPELL-CHECKING" MY POSTS (which is much harder to do on a phone, i do NOT use a computer for this forum, my PC is ONLY FOR WORK-USE & right now my 2 kids NEED IT for online schoolwork, so i DONT use my PC hardly @ all except for my work!!) i have much more IMPORTANT STUFF to worry about (like the RECENT DEATH of one of my childhood best friends who died from complications of coronavirus, she was ONLY 38 years old & has left behind kids & family, & I MISS MY FRIEND SO MUCH!!) so sorry grammar is the LAST THING on my mind, & if my "not-perfect grammar" bothers you so much - please DONT GO ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, etc, because there are HORRIBLE GRAMMAR on there too... just saying... good night 😊😘

But it's clear you just do it on purpose as you have been told numerous times to stop doing it.

We’ve all hinted, asked kindly, and screamed from the top of our lungs IN ALL CAPS for her to stop doing it, yet she persists. No matter how you look at it, it’s a nuisance.
