I can totally see Mariah sing RDMH :D I would love to see Celine sing Without You though. :) She would kill it

 

These two don’t necessarily have to do a duet, but it would be cool if they swapped songs, Mariah would sing a Celine song on her tour and Celine would sing a Mariah song on her tour. They would attract the corresponding fanbases!

I'm not quite sure what you mean! Her old songs aren't on her VEVO. Maybe only some from On Ne Change Pas?

 

Also Toi Sur Ta Montagne is from her third (normal) studio album Les chemins de ma maison from 1983 :)

So Mariah Carey is currently releasing everything that’s been hidden in the vault for decades, and her fans go crazy. She recently dropped her 3 previously unreleased Spanish songs

 

 

I wish Celine would finally decide to drop everything unreleased from the past for her fans during her pause where nothing at all happens.

If Celine doesn't own the rights to those unleased songs, I suppose she can't just decide to release them. Sony would have to make that call. And we know Sony isn't that interested in Celine's career lately...

But why can Mariah? I’m sure she is in the same situation as Celine, she didn’t write any lyric in Spanish. She must have talked to sony that she wants to release all that stuff, and Sony made that happen. If Celine wanted to, Im sure it would be possible as well. (and maybe it is no coincidence that the duet with Luis Miguel just recently leaked?) Edited by ryba

I don't know why Mariah can. But the song you posted is a translation from one of her English songs, isn't? If it is, she certainly still owns the rights. Edited by Xpresso

These songs were not unreleased, she’d simply never released them as a Spanish EP like this. Both Mi Todo and El Amor Que Soñé even had music videos

I just re-watched this interview and I really find it to be one of the most, if not the most unique interviews in her career.

 

I wonder what your opinions about it are? I would be so happy to read your comments. She seems so real, not playing. In the Barbara Walter interviews she seems more "prepeared" and diplomatic, but this is totally different, don't you think?

also, watching it and the clips from the initial AND show, I find the show and the way she acted cringeworthy. I wonder why she acted weird like that. Of course part of it is extremely exaggerated lipping, but the rest? Is it because she really didn’t give a damn about how she appears and what people think? It's a good question. For me, it is just so shockingly different to her vibe and mood before her break. Maybe she just really wanted to make a huge impression on everyone with her new direction after being away so long, so maybe she took it overboard.

 

But it seems a theme of Celine's career that they always play with her shows and change things.
