Not that I need to explain myself, BUT, I am not somebody that chats and comment, I like to read, if I do have the time, and my only concern was for what this rubbish going around can do to Celine...she worked hard and made a lot of sacrifices, people are nasty and it is after all the broad public supporting her, and this was my concern, these posts are getting more and frequent. I will never think that she is able to do anything like that ever, but the rest of the public out there doesnt know her as well ad her fans. Everybody got personal and attacked me from all sides after a post out of concern for Celine. But maybe after 7 years, this is not the place for me

Fair enough. I'm sorry everyone jumped out at you. This is meant to be a positive space, and I'm glad that the (very stupid) rumors surrounding Celine have been cleared up so we can stop the spread of such nonsense. I think it would've helped your case had you been more forthright in your initial comment about your care for Celine and how you thought the rumors were dumb, especially considering that we have discussed on the forum in the past before your post how these rumors keep popping up and are dumb.

 

Sorry for the tension and hurt caused.

the way that you wrote about the rumors, I thought that you believe them. I’m sorry to have misunderstood you! Like you, I’m so tired of reading about “satanity” and “devil”.....Celine worked so hard and I don’t want her career to be demolished by that....No reason for you to leave this forum!!

Hope they're actually going to use it...

 

Looks like they’re just gonna use it to post carbon copies of the videos already posted on Facebook, IG and IG stories. Looking like Team Celine not quite sure of Tiktok’s use 🙄

 

Also noticed little Nelson’s IG and Tiktok has gone, only the older TikTok that he hasn’t been active on for months is still there, he’s probably forgotten his sign in details for that one 😂 Looks like Mom maybe didn’t approve, he is quite young for socials I guess. My young nephew is disappointed as he had added him on IG and they exchanged a ‘hi’ 😆

So...when did Celine first get a house in the USA? And where was it?

 

Was she just doing hotels or rentals for the first few years of her English career....or commuting to and from Montreal?

Her first house was in Florida/Jupiter from the late 90s-2002, in 2005 they bought the famous new water park house there.

I guess hotels, since she was Touring so having a house wouldn’t make Sense when she was on the road constantly. But she had that huge house in Laval, Canada. Edited by ryba

That many years on the move and in hotels....it really makes you understand why she wanted to stop.

Just learned that Barbra Streisand's most expensive concert had tickets of 5,000 each....in 1986! That was of course her first full concert in nearly 20 years at that point.

 

This equates to nearly 12,000 dollars in today's money.

Streisand, especially at the time, was a giant star and hadn’t done a concert in over 20 years. Lots of celebrities attended these concerts and they had the money to pay it. People would’ve done anything to see Barbra sing live at the tie of that concert. There was an anticipation for it unlike anything that came after for any artist.

the huge box ring in the middle of that fancy room and the house next to it. But you’re right, it’s not really messy. It just looks stuffed with things

It’s like imagine if the Beatles were playing a final concert, or if Elvis came back for the dead to do a show...

 

Basically the most popular female singer at the height of her popularity musically. She still has the most expensive tickets in music I believe, when she does a tour..

Do you guys know that there’s a céline radio on Apple Music called “Crooner Radio Celine Dion”?

 

This is where i found old songs from Céline that i haven’t listened to. This radio is mixed with old and new songs both french and in english :)
