Do you guys know that there’s a céline radio on Apple Music called “Crooner Radio Celine Dion”?

 

This is where i found old songs from Céline that i haven’t listened to. This radio is mixed with old and new songs both french and in english :)

 

There is an app on my samsung tv, and I listen to it every day at home office :)

Nothing. I just want to post it here if maybe some of you know whose person is she talking about.

 

Also, she wrote many songs for Céline and she said from her tweet “It’s one of my best song”

I think Celine is relaxing in Quebec right now. I just saw a video and some pics of Celine picking apples, surrounded by trees and greenery. Looks like Quebec to me? I am surprised nobody is talking about this on the forum yet. Celine is finally out and about guys! :w00t:

Only just realised they used the same To Love Your More lip synch track for Live in Memphis and Live in Paris (1999) the little things you don’t realise until after 16 years of being obsessed!

They also used it for the ‘Live in Las Vegas: A New Day...’ DVD and part of it for the Tokyo 2018 broadcast show.

35 Years ago today...

Canadian singer Celine Dion, "C'est pour toi" has released in Quebec, Canada on 27 August 1985. It is the seventh French-language studio album and it topped the chart in Quebec for twelve weeks. The title track, released as the lead single, reached number three in Quebec chart (ADISQ). "C'est pour vivre" was issued as the second single (it was released in France as well).

The album includes ten songs co-written and co-produced by Eddy Marnay. One of the tracks, "Virginie... Roman d'amour" had previously been released in France on the album Les oiseaux du bonheur, under the title "Paul et Virginie". A song called "Elle", appeared on Dion's 1994 live album À l'Olympia. This live version of "Elle" was also included on the long box edition of her French greatest hits compilation, On ne change pas (2005).

Just learned that Celine actually released her first album (April 1990) before Mariah did (June 1990)...

 

I always thought Mariah eeked hers out before Celine did.

 

I just imagine Celine's first single being "Vision of Love"....I think early 1990s voice Celine would've sounded so interesting on that song

For some reason I can’t imagine Céline singing “Vision of Love” and, even if she did, I think I would prefer Mariah’s version.

 

Similarly, I can’t picture Mariah performing “River Deep, Mountain High”. I’m laughing just thinking about it.

Imagine her singing IACBTMN... lol 😆

 

They both have their own songs for a reason. For me the reason is to skip each and every song that comes on from MC.

It’s pretty much the only Mariah song I can imagine Céline adapting well, out of her almost twenty number ones I think Céline would only sound good on that... maybe I’ll Be There??? But that’s a Jackson 5 song so it’s different.

 

And it’d suit best to early 90s Unison Céline the most, really. Mariahs version would probably be better but still.

 

I can sorrrttta imagine Mariah doing RDMH. Problem is she wouldn’t believe it and be into it like Céline, she really feels that one

Me too! Vision Of Love is easy to sing and I can see Céline doing the repeated runs since she always do that back in the early 90’s

 

MC doing the RDMH. It will be hard for her. This is not her genre and she barely moves lol
