She didn't even record a Christmas message for the fans

 

Just another proof of her obvious allergy to interact with fans... and imo it's an evidence that all the communication with the fans has been always kind of forced and imposed by her team and she was never really interested in taping videos for TeamCeline and such... :innocent:

Céline allergic to fan interaction?

 

Are we really going to pretend she doesn't spend hours and hours patiently meeting fans at her hotels at every occasion? As if she isn't kind to every fan who happens to meet her in a store, in a theatre, in the street? As if she doesn't send out signed pictures by mail? Or as if she didn't do thousands of free M&G's with her fans?

 

Do you realize how many celebrities profess to love their fans on social media, only to ignore or disdain them in real life?

Céline obviously prefers face-to-face interaction. And I much rather have it this way...

Then why does she spend upwards of an hour outside hotels in the cold sitting signing autographs for fans and interacting with them, even going up to gates, taking gifts, pictures, hugging, singing, laughing etc. Alot more than i can say for many singers

I said allergic to interact with fans obviously referring to her absolute lack of communication and personal updates on social media, not in real meetings.

 

Not everyone is allowed to travel, pay for a Celine Dion concert and wait for hours outside her hotel for an autograph guys, don't take that for granted (specially considering the crazy prices she's asking for her shows lately). The last M&G have been an absolute mock to her fans, only available for VIP people from the industry and not the general fans.

 

However, a 15 second story/video on Instagram to greet the holidays to your devoted fans is one-click away and at the reach of everyone's hand :thumbsup2:

 

Last, having a preference for real-life meetings with your public doesn't mean you have to live in ostracism for months without any sign of communication with your fans, especially when it's never been easier to be in touch with fans as today, so...

I do partially agree. But for someone that does not like social media she at least makes an effort.

 

Yeah almost :-D I do appreciate her traditional family picture, but I think she can do something more beyond that. The video of Winter Song? I guess that was a rare special bonus that happens only once in a career :giggle: No need to film and rehearse a full song, but still, it only takes a mobile phone and 1 minute to post some kind of salute and greet to your fans...

People Magazine Article December 24th 2018. Celine Dion Smiles with Kids in Sweet Christmas Photo, Nearly 3 Years After Husband's Death The holidays are all about family time for Céline Dion. On Monday, the Grammy winning singer, 50, shared a photo of herself posing in front of the Christmas tree with her three sons —  twins Eddy and Nelson, 8, and René-Charles, 17 — and their two dogs, Charlie and Bear.

 

Her post came just weeks before the three-year anniversary of the death of her husband René Angélil, who died of throat cancer on January 14, 2016 at the age of 73.

“May your heart and home be filled with warmth, peace and love. Happy Holidays everyone! 🎄✨,” Dion wrote in English and French, signing the note, “Céline, RC, Nelson, Eddy, Charlie and Bear xxx”

Back in November, Dion told PEOPLE that when she isn’t performing at Caesars Palace for her Las Vegas residency, she puts all of her time into her kids.

 

“The highlight of my day is always being with my children,” Dion said.

And her boys continue to surprise her. “Even though my young sons are twins, they are so different,” she says. This is particularly true when it comes to fashion: “If one likes to wear a certain shirt, the other one wants something completely different. They’re searching for their own individuality. It’s important for their emotional growth.”

 

Losing Angélil was hard on the kids, especially the twins. In 2017, Dion revealed that she and the young boys dealt with the loss by getting even closer

 

“I organize myself to not feel lonely,” she explained to The Sun. “So I got myself a huge, huge, huge bed and I sleep with my twins. They are comforting me a lot. I need them. I need them close. When it’s time for them to say they want their room, their room’s ready. But we watch a lot of TV together. I’m discovering Disney.”

 

Dion said that her children remained in touch with their father. “We kiss him every night,” she noted. “We have a little ritual where we say goodnight to him with a little picture. Then the kids talk to him. And they write words, put them in balloons and we send the balloons to the sky.”

 

There’s also a pre-concert ritual Dion participated in before every performance, clutching a bronze replica of Angélil’s hand. “I shake my husband’s hand and knock on wood with him every night before every show,” she said in a February interview with the Daily Telegraph‘s magazine Stellar. “Even after he’s gone, I still talk to him.”

 

Dion makes sure to keep his traditional seat behind the sound mixing desk empty in his honor, too. “He taught me so much. He did a great job; what he had been giving to me all his life and all my life will always be with me,” Dion said of her husband of 21 years, who also served as her manager for most of her career. “He gave me his all. He mortgaged his house to pay for my first album. I guess before he left he wanted to make sure I was fine. I’m trying to prove to him every day I’m fine. Our kids are growing, we feel strong. We’re good.”

 

When Dion’s Las Vegas residency ends in June, she’ll have plenty more time to spend with her children as well — and new projects. “I love doing the show so much, and I’m very grateful to be able to do it. But I’m also excited for the new things to come after it ends,” Dion told PEOPLE in November.

 

Any hints? “There are a lot of things in the works,” she teased. “I can’t talk about all of them yet, but I am in the studio working on a new English album. Hopefully it will be out sometime in 2019.”

Céline always say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas".. Nothing I just noticed it.

Hey guys, I made this account around 5 years ago (never really used it) and would like to make a new one as Im unhappy with the username (long story). However there is a problem everyvtime with the registration question and its always invalid. Im following all the instructions so im thinking that maybe its not on my end and maybe theres a bug? He has been pretty excited about Celine too ..... he is probably thinking 2019 is going to be a good year for him with his album and his contribution to Celines album! He has mentioned Celine so many times this year!

What I think is strange is the fact that Moccio deleted all his posts on Instagram but not on Facebook.

On his Facebook he kept several posts but none related to Celine Dion. For instance, I remember that he posted a picture of him in studio with Celine and a new artist called Maty Noyes. Now only appears a picture of him with this girl and no Celine.
