Yes the duet of the decade and a huge video!

After the success with the ashes music video, they would be stupid to don´t make one for her next single, (or singles)! Altough, they were stupid anyway with leaving alone, eyes on me, LMBTL, EUS, les yeux au ciel etc. without music videos. Even for recovering, a music video, with a singing celine and pictures showing would be so beautiful and would work so well, but...I simply don´t understand it, even when they (sony) only cares about the money, they could make even more money with musicvideos through celine, also a little bit prome, celine doesn´t need more... and I could say this all about the unreleased material (dvd´s etc.) too, the fans will buy everything,...why don´t milking the fans and get their money, when they/we are willing to spend their money on such things like the dvd´s of the last tours? Did anyone watch the entire Surviving R.Kelly documentary? I knew that it was bad, but I had no idea people in the music business still works with him. I've never liked R.Kelly, so I've never followed him either, but with a quick Google search it's easy to see that (some) people in the music industry doesn't give a s*** about that he's a pedophile. They work with him anyway.

 

At least I'm happy Celine worked with R.Kelly in 1998 before all the allegations. And most importantly, that she never worked with him again. I mean, there has never been a question in my mind that he's guilty. The question is if you care or not.

 

It's crazy how Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey got taken down in a blink of an eye, but R.Kelly still rapes little girls and the industry is just "fine" with it. In my honest opinion, what R.Kelly is, and has done is way worse than for example Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. (Based on what we know)

 

Edit: Sorry, I didn't mean to be such a downer, I just didn't know where to post this. I wish you all a great day in this crazy world. :blush:

I was shocked by how blasé some on here were about it (scroll up a bit for earlier discussion on this).

One comment in particular had me really taken aback - first time I was actually genuinely offended by something I read on here. I just don't understand how people can be so dismissive and indifferent.

I’m happy she didn’t do the docu.. I’m sure she didn’t know anything... BUT she’s a woman in the Music industry she don’t have to say sorry... but just a statement that she’s supporting the survivors is also good thing to do...

 

And i don’t mind if they delete i’m your angel.. he totally destroyed the whole song for me...

Many song writers and producers have done terrible things and they should be locked up for it! Does it mean all Phil Spector songs should be taken down? If that were the case a lot of history and amazing material would be lost.

 

Around 1998 there were rumours going around after he married at 15 year old in 1994 but according to some, Sony was pushing all artists to work with him in one way or another...

 

I’m just glad that celine only did this one song with him and as you say... it’s a lovely song.

 

The song Gaga did with him feels weird now knowing how he behaved.... do what you want with my body....

Isn't hypocritical on Gaga's part to take the song down? A song that she wrote and called Do What You Want With My Body?

When you want to make it in the business, anything works to stand out (even if the allegations were already out about him at the time). But once you are famous, saying "it was a dark time in my life" seems a bit hypocritical to me.

First of all the actions from R. Kelly are absolutely horrible. And if the justices proof the accusations against him, it´s really really terrible. But in my opinion it´s important that R. Kelly will be punished because of his actions, not because he´s pedophiliac. Because that shouldn´t be a crime and isn´t one. Those people were born this way, just like gay or hetero people. But if it´s true that he abused teenagers or young women, it´s an unbelievable terrible crime and he should be punished without any hesitation!!! I´m so glad that Céline worked with him, before all this

Exactly. You cannot compare someone’s sexuality to being sexually attracted to pre pubescents / children and its offensive to do so

I agree. There is a big difference between sexual orientation and a psychiatric/mental disorder. People who are born gay doesn't have a mental disorder for simply being gay. However, you do if you're sexually attracted to kids.

 

That being said, there should be some help for even the sickest mental disorders. Those people probably didn't want to be monsters.

Do you guys believe that if you were sexually abused when you were still a kid.. you could become gay? I remember there was a tweet about who were their first experience when they were still a kid and many of them said that's why they become gay because of that sexual molestation mostly from their siblings/dad/uncle/cousins..

 

R Kelly is a pedophile. He really likes underage girls. I read from an article that he married Aaliyah when she was still 15 years old and R Kelly that time was 27 or 28 years old back in 1994. Scary!
