Just because one dude needs to indulge his bizarro fixation on "fats" (?) / botox / eyebrow shapes / "making one's face smaller" (??) / etc. doesn't mean we need to engage and enable the polluting of every thread with pages of this junk.. (Because let's face it, it's been in every thread at some point.)

 

 

A question to those of you outside the US.

Are the following French albums available on your local Spotify / other major streaming platforms? Or is this only available in French-speaking territories?

 

- Sans attendre

- D'Elles

- S'il suffisait d'aimer

- Dion chante Plamondon (full album, not select songs)

 

Of course, things like Sans attendre EPK, for instance, and a bunch of French videos, are still geo-blocked on YouTube etc, and I don't think there's any hope at this point of ever getting them in the US.

 

But it's completely perplexing that some of her most successful albums, and some of the most recent ones (!) are completely absent from streaming in the US. WTF is Sony doing? It took mere days to remove IYA!

 

I'm in Indonesia, every french album since Incognito is available in Spotify except Chante Plamondon

They are available in our country (spotify) :)

Celine along with many other celebs are in Paris for Fashion Week i saw Rami Malik Dakota Johnson Justin Bieber Julianne Moore Julia Roberts Brad Pitt Emma Stone Selena Gomez Kim Kardashian Kendall Jenner The Beckhams, Rihanna is their a bunch more just naming people i saw on Instagram posts

Anyone else noticing the changes on iTunes and Spotify? They removed The Essential Celine Dion album from both, and replaced it with the European version of My Love Ultimate Essential Collection. On Spotify, there's no play counts for this album now since it was just added. On iTunes, they re-uploaded These Are Special Times without I'm Your Angel instead of keeping the version that just omitted I'm Your Angel. So, now there's no customer reviews for the album anymore. And on iTunes, under Celine, they have The Very Best of Celine Dion album, and seemed to replace her All The Way...A Decade of Song album. You have to search for it on iTunes just to find it. Seems like one big mess. :doh:

Ellen's contract ends in 2020. So still a lot of time.

She's considering ending the show... but that could be just some negotiation tactics. We'll see!

i don't know what bothers me most, that song or the fact that so many are obessessing over it. I just don't understand .

This was the 2009 winner's single for Season 8 of American Idol, so Kris Allen and Adam Lambert have already covered this song. I'd prefer she do a song that's uniquely hers.

Just rewatched the recording session on YouTube. Some parts how Celine sang and pronounced the words originally make the song sound dated, or doesn't give that edgy feel. Always exciting to see producers who can push her to another level.

I know many here like to gripe about the rather nebulous larger concept of "Team Celine" as the source of all ills but... who's actually on Team Celine these days?

 

Obviously there are people with social media presence - Law, Pepe, Sydney, Denise Truscello. There's Talia DeMartino and Shari Weber doing the tour management & general coordination. Scott & Philippe Dunnigan heading up the band. Then the decidedly "offline" Dave Platel & Denis Savage doing the co-managing. And of course Michel. (Is Patrick entirely out of the picture now?)

John Doelp at Sony in charge of the albums, right? John Meglen at AEG? Some admin people in Laval judging by LinkedIn.

Who else?

 

Bumping this up.

 

Anyone? Or do we, collectively, not know.

 

Particularly curious who's there from the business affairs / legal / finance perspective.

I can't help but I can only say that Patrick is no longer working with Céline. He lives in a normal neighbourhood in Montréal (nothing fancy, just normal). Not sure what he's doing though.
