It shouldn't. The song won't sound any different regardless. Anyhoo, I would be fine if she released a solo version. Not that I think that's likely, or that it'll change my opinion of the song, lol.

 

I don't see her doing anything with the song now... She's got stuck with it and dueting with Barnev for ages to change anything now...

Yeah, it's too late to change it now. They can just drop it all together for future performances though. I actually wouldn't mind that. :giggle: Replace it with something else. Anything.

I don´t really get it, it says blueray, so it´s a DVD right, not a CD, are there the music videos officially aviable? But songs like love is all we need, a song for you, HDYKTMP, or I knew I loved you have no music videos I believe. So what is that? Edited by ordinary fan

It's a music card. It's a new experimental format to sell music, supposedly the new thing after the CD. Offers higher definition music than a CD, comes like a USB that you can plug into your pc/mac, blu ray player, anything that can read a usb. With this they'd be able to include videos as well as music together instead of separate CD and dvd/blu ray. It explained it in the description. It says they are planning a graphic user interface for blu ray players, I'm thinking that'll be similar to a blu ray/DVD menu.

Ah, excellent, so everything that you've already bought on cassette, CD, MP3 and vinyl (and VHS and DVD) you can now buy again on a music card. :sofunny:

 

Besides, who still uses USB sticks?!

 

Sorry, but this seems equal parts hilarious and desperate to me - who do they expect to buy this stuff?

 

The generation that still buys physical music isn't exactly the early adopters of new tech... and to millennials the mere idea of owning music is a foreign concept. Why own and have it clutter your shelves / hard drive space, when you can stream anything, anytime, anywhere?

(I certainly haven't bought anything in probably about a decade now - got Spotify when it launched its beta in the UK 10 years ago - and my younger brother never has. I just have a pile of unopened CDs I don't know what to do with because they come as part of ticket bundles and I don't have anything to play them on! LOL)

 

This is like the movie studios trying to make UltraViolet a thing a few years back. Poured billions down the drain. SMH

Yeah, as someone that does still buy physical copies of movies and CD's that I LOVE (for which I buy special editions/steel box, etc), I wouldn't buy a music card/usb. It's just unappealing, if I'm going to buy a physical copy of something then I want to be able to put it on a shelf and display. A wall of movies, cd's/vynils, what am I going to do with a card? Put them in binders? Unless the cards come in cases?

 

Seems pointless. I doubt that it'll replace CD's (if this takes off at all), just like blu ray's didn't totally replace DVDs.

Another good song written by Diane Warren for Gaga:

 

 

I like Gaga. She's talented, really knows how to sing, respects Celine and have recorded a beautiful album with Tony Bennett. A duet with Celine can be magical!!!

 

Diane Warren was one of the best if not the most successful songwriter of the 1990's. She had some bad writting moments but her latest songs (specially since Beyoncé's "I am Here") all have powerful messages.

I like Gaga too, though can't say I'm too familiar with her work other than the obvious.

Finally got around to seeing A Star is Born and truth be told, I don't get the hype. It's basically Gaga just playing herself. Like her Five Foot Two doc, but scripted.

And she and Bradley are solid, yes, but the film itself is largely a cookie cutter romantic drama in my eyes, one I found rather forgettable, so I don't get all the critical acclaim it's been getting.

Unclear to me how the same writer gives Celine the diamond of “Nothings Broken But My Heart” and the SAME one gives her “Unifinshed Songs”...? :sick:

 

How can the same person write such quality and garbage..

Know what's wild? Perhaps not entirely reliable, but see below.

I feel like a lot of these artists just released one this past year. And/ or the year before... I miss the days when Celine was this prolific. (I know, I know, she has good reasons, but still.)

Well at least I think she did justice with the title of the song, because this track looks totally "unfinished" and far from her standard quality... :laugh:

True! Also it was recorded after one of Celine's Vegas shows. Not much time. Now Celine dedicates years to produce an album. So I expect the best!

I would love this news to be true. A duet with Lady Gaga would be huge! ;)

I actually love unfinished songs, it´s not one of Celine´s/Diane´s best songs ever, but something about the melody and the song as itself makes me loving this song very much. it´s one of my most favorite songs of the LMBTL album. But to each his own...
