Wow what an article!!!

 

I've never experienced anything quite like that omg. But I've experienced some other stuff and I'd never compare it to what she went through. But I can relate to so many things to what she wrote! So many things. What a brave woman.

I hope that someone tells Céline about this article and at least sends her an autographed picture, at least.

I feel like I am the only person who has not met Celine Dion yet. :(

 

Celine has always been the most optimistic, positive, and down to earth human being on this planet. She speaks the truth and she shares so many great words of wisdom and of life.

 

On a personal level, this past year, I went through a really rough and scary time in my life. 10 months ago, I caught one of those terrifying autoimmune viruses. I had a nerve attack in my spine which I was paralyzed waste down. I couldn't walk, stand properly, etc. Spending 2 weeks in a hospital bed and then an additional 2 1/2 weeks at Kesler Rehab for Physical Therapy and intense testing. But what kept me strong was listening to music of Celine and also I'm a Musical Theatre kid so a lot of cast albums. With Celine, she is always honest about everything makes you wanna believe everything is going to be alright. She has always been like the medicine for people especially dealing with hard times. Anyway about 3-4 months later, I slowly started being back on my feet more full out. Today, I am fully back to 100% walking. However, a few parts (mostly my thighs) are a little stiff but the doctors said it will take about a year or 2 till I'm fully ok. But for me as a performer, I'm getting my act back together. THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!!

 

When this happened, it was the time Celine was performing at the Today Show and I was extremely disappointed that I didn't get to be there since I was still in the hospital at the time.

 

Anyway, to meet Celine Dion in Las Vegas would be a dream just to tell her thank you for always inspiring me and the courage to stay positive. However, this dream will never come true probably. I feel like it'll never happen for me.

Same here, Never met her and it would be my biggest dream to meet her. Even though it's only for 1 minute!

 

It's great to be able to find medicine in someone like Céline. It's like that for me. And that's probably why I'm oversensitive about anything Céline related haha. She's my medicine. I don't do drugs, I do Céline (that sounds weird I know)

 

I hope you get to meet her one day in Las Vegas :)

 

I'm crossing my finger for Paris in July for myself.

You just hold on to that dream, really :) I've never seen her in concert and I'm finally seeing her in June, after 18 years dreaming of that moment, so you'll never know but don't lose faith on that dream of yours ;)

And just a little advice to you Javito when you do see her show...

Don't over-analyze every little detail. Just enjoy the moment, otherwise you'll screw up that dream of yours. :-D

Same here, when I see her, I just care about how she moves, acts, the music. I'm on cloud 9. I really hope I'll zone out in Paris and not care about anyone around me. Can't wait :clap: but still don't want it to be over :cry:

 

 

Question...i remember reading somewhere in the forum that Dave platel wasn't part of her management anymore but is he back? Noticed him in a vid and in the background of some pics

 

Yeah he wasn't working for her anymore but ok this is interesting. What pictures are that?

 

I met Dave once in Las Vegas. I came up to him and we talked a bit and then I asked for a pic. He said he didn't have time at that moment but told me to wait. He went away and I waited (surrounded by lot of people from the Forum, but they weren't noticing this) and after about 5-10 minutes he came back for the pic.

He is super nice and I was sad to hear he wasn't working for Céline anymore.

So we've got both John Doelp and Dave Platel with Céline in the BMAs. Now that's sure they were there for some purpose. Hopefully they were meeting someone concerning her new album ^_^ :)

This doesn't really directly relate to Celine, but does anyone think it would be amazing if David Foster and Diane Warren were to be chosen as judges on the revamp of American Idol? :-D

 

They have both famously worked with Celine and I would freak to see them as judges! :w00t: Okay. We already know that Katy Perry has been chosen, so my dream team of judges would be, Katy Perry, David Foster, Diane Warren and Sia.

 

 

I will only be excited for this show if they bring in David Foster and Diane Warren. If they don't, I probably won't watch it. :down:

Yeah, especially when there is space enough in the disc to add it, and also the other bonus track Coulda Woulda Shoulda. I was talking about this the other day with other fellow fans, and the 17 track edition + the 2 bonus tracks of the Limited Edition would have fitted on a 80 min disc, so I don't understand why they included them on a DVD as audio tracks :doh:

 

I wish that future pressings of the ANDHC album would include these 2 bonus tracks, making it the complete 19-track edition that was supposed to be in 2002 ^_^

Dear all,

 

Today I played a playlist from Céline out of YouTube and when I listened to The Power of Love, I recognised that it was not the same version as I know from the single or the album. It's an other mix. Can anybody help me out with this? Because I find this version somewhat more special.
