Nothing wrong with Sears Portrait Studio.

 

I think it's very possible they were taken around the same time. Never really thought about it but good question! After looking closely I don't believe they were taken at Sears Portrait Studio.

 

Alright I just got confused with the "RIP" and the LOL's on the comments and thought there's something wrong with either my question or that Sears Portrait Studio. But thanks for the answer! :)

I would take that with a pinch of salt.

 

Is Rene still in the hospital in Boston? That article says she commutes to his bedside in Boston...if that is the case that is awful...I would hope he would be feeling better and with Celine in Vegas since the shows start next week! I dont know what to make of that statement either at the moment....

I have no idea where he is. I was just suggesting that I wouldn't entirely trust the article. It seems that the journalist who wrote it is most likely a bit behind with the storey or may just be using it for dramatic effect.

 

We have no other source to suggest that he is in Boston and it is very unlikely that he would miss the opening of the show for anything.

Well the way it read to me was that Celine is splitting her time between vegas and Boston, which we all knew about when we found out they were going to Boston. It didn't actually say Rene was still there and without celine. The fact they live in Vegas and that she flew back for the billboards etc means she's commuting.

I just played the whole S'il suffisait d'aimer album, and Je chanterai stood out to me the most. My other favorites are Papillon, Zora sourit, and Sur le meme bateau.

Me too! I wish she recorded more Beatles songs. Really loved Celine's version of Because. And of course Here, There & Everywhere, Beautiful Boy, Something... Such great tunes. Wish a Beatles song could make it into the Vegas set list.

 

There was a rumor awhile back that Mego was working on a Beatles tribute medley. However, that is for sure now off the table.

And she made a reference to that song in the comeback video (with the gold sparkly shirt and black leather pants)... I wonder if that means anything?? I for one would LOVE it!!!

How could you forget En Attendant Ses Pas??? LOL!!! That's my favorite off of SSDA, followed up closely by Papillion, Je Chanterai, Dans Un Auture Monde, and Terre. And of course SSDA :throb: why don't I sit here and name the whole album off lol

Right. The whole album is Gold!!! I could listen to every single song without skipping a single track. No “Overjoyed" cuts in sight :giggle: And I'm so stupid, of course En attendant ses pas is on my list.

The new article also talks about a "lifestyles line" like Kim K, Jessica Simpson, etc. I wonder if this means like a home line (pillows, bedding, decor, etc) or a clothing line of some sort?? He goes on talk about her party and decorating ability as well as her eye for fashion.

 

If so.....yay!!!! I've always thought a line of Celine stuff would do well....outside of tour/show merch.

Le journal de Montreal is without a doubt a bit frustrated that Aldo talked to La Presse in exclusivity...they are making an article saying that maybe Britney Spears could be now the new queen of Vegas. Britney has a youger clientele, the show is sold-out etc... they say Celine still has a great voice.

 

Bad taste all around.

This made me laugh so hard. Britney??? Really??

She won't be there long, and even if she was, she still isn't in Celine's category as a Queen of anything. Yeah she's older, but Celine's talent and sales are incomparable.

 

How much has Britney sold in the last 5 years?

 

Le journal de Montreal can get over themselves because no one cares about what they say about Celine. People are FAR more concerned with her return right now.

the Queen of Vegas will be always Celine, she has her own theater build for her to perform every night

 

Cher, Bette Midler and among others had there own show by the 70/80's and Celine will be always remember as the Queen, Britney will be always a Princes :innocent: :giggle:

Le journal de Montreal should feel good about what they said this morning after the usa today interview. I mean after reading that who cares about what they think about Britney/Celine? Doesn't matter to anyone.

I've been following Celine's twitter account for a while now. Today when I checked it instead of it saying following as it normally does it now says following pending. What the heck is anyone else having this issue?? Could it be a twitter glitch?
