Me too! I wish she recorded more Beatles songs. Really loved Celine's version of Because. And of course Here, There & Everywhere, Beautiful Boy, Something... Such great tunes. Wish a Beatles song could make it into the Vegas set list.

 

Not forgetting Twist and Shout! ARGGGGGHHH!"pulls hair" 😅

London part is my favorite. I wish I could hear a full version of Elton's Your Song in Celine's voice.

That is one of my favorite parts of the movie as well.

I've read that site before and there was somebody who said Celine had a bad attitude but there was also somebody who listed her as one of the nicest easiest to deal with. Maybe the person who "helped" her was a moron or an outright liar.

Lol, Oh the scandal!!! I imagine she does have a "terrible attitude" some days. Everyone needs a bitchy day once in a while! I'm so surprised we don't see more of that side of her through all these years. :giggle:

I have a "terrible attitude" most days. Especially when flying!

 

I would imagine they caught her on one of her "silent" days and took that as her being an arrogant cowbag.

i don't get this story because as far as I'm aware celine doesn't travel on mainstream airlines??

This whole celebrity flying who is and who is not nice came up this past week when Cilla Black died. She was notorious for being a vile, vapid windbag who needed a punch in the face. She was especially rude to cabin crew. Various online pilot and cabin crew forums were cited with examples of her vile behavior. People were reminiscing about celebrities they served as far back as the 80s. I think the person who had said Celine was awful was referencing something from about 20 years ago.

The person referencing Celine also put Celine and Madonna in the same sentence as both having a terrible attitude, going back many years, without any specifics. I wondered if he was mixing her up with another celebrity!

Someone on eBay is selling a Celine fan club magazine from 1991. http://www.ebay.com/... It's awesome to see it, but also kind of hilarious. I know Celine was new at English then, but the note from her looks like it must have been written in French, and translated by . . . who knows? Some gems from the first page:

Hey guys, there is one thing that bothers me at the moment. Do you remember the official Celine magazines that were issued on a regular basis in the past? I wonder who published them (teamCeline?) and how often. Moreover, are they still being published or did they stop issuing them? And where could you get them? Only online? What did they include? Was it a regular update on Celine’s career/life?

I wouldn't be surprised if Celine went to Julie's wedding, even though her show is opening soon. Julie and Celine seem to be really good friends. I'm sure Celine would want to be there for this important moment is Julie's life. I know Julie would understand if Celine couldn't make it to her wedding, with everything that's going on in Celine's life right now.

 

If Celine isn't able to make it, I'm sure she will sent a gift or video message to Julie and her new husband. She will want to do something special for them I'm sure.

 

Does anyone know who Julie Snyder is Marrying? I had know idea she was even engaged.

If I remember correctly... It was something like they separated but then got back together and worked it out,,,? Or at least that's what I thought I heard lol

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!
