At least Aldo wants a younger image for celine, thats why he fired her band.

About that im curious to see who replaced them...

 

 

I don't think he ever said he wanted a younger image -- I thought the quote was something like "new faces" or "fresh faces." And I think the "new image" reference when we first heard about the band was a mistranslation of the French.

Men have definitely done Bond themes before. Paul McCartney sang Live and Let Die, and Duran Duran did A View To A Kill. Those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head but there may have been others.

I said it's only a rumour. There's also a rumour that Ellie Goulding has recorded it. Think it'll be announced soon.

I was hoping Sam Smith would do it.

This is an an amazing song I'm seriously in love with at the moment! It's called "Going Out Like That" by Reba (McEntire) and... My imagination started wandering and I couldn't help think what if Celine did this with her since they're both at the Colosseum? She could sing the high harmony and omg it would be amazing lol Wishful thinking, I know LOL.

Not to get to much off topic here. I know this is a Celine Dion forum, but I just have to say that I am a huge fan of Reba and I am so glade she is doing a show in Vegas! I have Reba's new album and I also love Going out like that, but my favorite song on the album is Until they don't love you.

 

It has a really good beat. Anyone who is a Reba fan should check out the album. It's pretty good. I would love to see Reba's new Vegas show! :-D

 

Anyways, Getting back to Celine now. LOL. It is because of Celine taking Chances when knowone believed she would make it in Vegas, It is because of her that all these amazing artists have there own Vegas shows. Vegas is huge right now. I mean every major legend, even younger artists like Britney Spears have joined ship.

 

It just warms my heart to think that Celine brought Vegas where it is today!

I am so hoping that either Reba or Celine visits eachothers shows though. It would be so amazing! :wub: I was hoping that we would have seen a backstage pic of Celine and Shania when Shania did her Vegas show, but sadly that didn't happen. It would be nice if JLo, Britney, Mariah, or Reba visited Celine's show. Maybe Celine will visit one of there shows before her big return.

:sofunny: I think even us Finns got a bit more talent than that! :sofunny: No, it's a show, where the contestants try to invent the best new comedy character. Most of them are just ridiculously stupid, and I guess that's just the point of the entire show...

I am also a big Reba fan. I cannot see them singing together but love Going Out Like That. :) I wish I could say we'll see her on TV shows in August, but all talk shows are on summer reruns so I highly doubt it!

I know this isn't really the place to post this, but since some of us were just talking about Reba, I just heard today that Reba and her husband of 26 years are splitting up. :down: I know this is a Celine Dion forum, but whenever I hear of power couples such as these two breaking up, it makes me think of Celine and Rene.

 

Reba's love story is simular to Celine and Rene's in alot of ways because Reba's husband is also her longtime manager of 35 years and they fell in love while working together. I have always thought of them as such a strong and loving couple who would grow grey and old together in the rocking chairs.

 

You think certain couples will never break up and then they do. It's just so sad. I have all the hope that won't happen with Celine and Rene, especially after all they have been through and there relationship is so strong, but you just never know.

 

So many celebrity couples are breaking up right now. I just hope that never ever happens with Celine and Rene. They are the rare example of true and forever lasting love!

You know this idea was just too crazy not to try out and INDEED it fits the video perfectly!

It's so weird to see how 'climaxes' in the video actually work with climaxes in the song! :jawdrop:

I don't think SLS was already recorded in April 2013.... but it would have been AWESOME if Céline recorded playback for SLS at the same time as QPVSA! Most countries wouldn't have seen QPVSA anyway, so Sony could have easily released the same video, except for the playbacks!!
