I remember a website called Celine Dion Photo Collection with address ending like .sapo.pt

 

Tried to look for it a couple of months ago, couldn't find it anywhere.

 

I remember it had a big photo.gallery with loads of pictures from concerts, vidéoclip...

It was always a big decision of which videos you would download because it took forever on dial-up internet. Such a great site, and awesome resource in the days before YouTube!

Speaking of old Celine fan sites, does anyone else remember the Celine Dion Rare Videoclips site? They posted a selection of 30 second video snippets of different performances every week. I loved that site, and I remember checking it every week to see which new videos had been posted. It was always a big decision of which videos you would download because it took forever on dial-up internet. Such a great site, and awesome resource in the days before YouTube!

 

I definitely remember that one !!

Yes, we also had a slow internet connexion (I remember my mother allowing me 15 or 20 minutes of internet per day...), so I had to choose which video I want to download ! I should still have these somewhere...

It's interesting to think that Celine is the very age that Judy Garland was when she died.

 

Judy's peak voice was around 1960-1964 (Age 38-42). Judy was a victim to show business, but Celine has remained unharmed. We're very lucky.

Just looking at some of these pictures from the past few years, and thinking Celine really needs to lay off all that black eyeliner and fake lashes! It's just too much and I think it really unnecessarily ages her. She looks so much better without all that makeup.

Does the site look weird for anyone else? Like the share things have different pics (Facebook etc) and the profile pics have changed? It did this (on mobile) when the site was last updated, so that's my theory. :)

In the cinema movie for "Celine:through the eyes of the world" at he ending credits they played "The Show Must Go On" a studio version does anyone have this rare gem? It sounded great in the studio, does anyone else remember?

This is Celine related because I am going August 27th and staying at Caesars, but what the heck happened to Caesars room selection process??? I just tried to book for a better rate and everything has changed. You cannot pick the Tower anymore such as Roman, Forum, Augustus or Octavius. Now its like 40 different selections cut into smaller catergories like deluxe room, deluxe room strip view, premium room roll in bed, premium room suite, premium room petite suite, classic room, classic room deluxe strip view...very very confusing and not clear with what you get in the beginning. Has anyone else noticed this change? Also I was told if you book in Augustus or Octavius there is no way to select which tower to get anymore..its random and now they are called premium rooms. Octavius is not even listen anymore as an option to pick...anyone else staying at Caesars noticing this new format? I really like Caesars and stay there mainly because Celine is associated with it, but not a fan of the new format for picking rooms lol Maybe someday Caesars will have a Celine suite where its completely dedicated to her. Last time I also stayed at the Flamingo...and my view was of the Colloseum.
