Sort of off topic, but does anyone know if when you meet Celine through a meet & greet at her show, does Team Celine post pics or do they get rights to the photo? I see photos of M&G's surfacing all over the place, but I'm not sure if the fans are posting them of theirs or if team Celine or Caesars are releasing them...anyone know by experience?

No idea about the rights. But in my case you get your photo sent to you. It's probably fans posting their pics that you see.

There always was a "contact us" link which directs you to emailing them.

I've been wondering. It's almost mid-year and tehres still no talk of Celine getting included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?... I remember wanting her English career to turn 25 years old so she could finally get eligible....

I think people like Kiss, ACDC, and The Rolling Stones are more what the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame are looking for. When you think rock and roll, you don't really think of Celine. Sure Celine has rock and roll in her and she has made a few edgy songs on some of her albums but I still wouldn't consider her a rock and roll artist.

 

Most people that are not Celine fans and don't follow her music don't even know that Celine has recorded those edgy songs. They only know her from her big hits like MHWGO, TPOL, BYLM and IACBTMN.

 

Celine is more like pop adult in the publics eye. Take Steven tyler for example, He has always been a Rock and Roll artist. He recently made a country album, but I don't think he will be inducted into the country music hall of fame any time soon. Celine has recorded a few rock songs, but that is not what she is known for, so she will probably never be thought of or considered for that award.

 

If she became a crossover artist someday and was a huge success with the transition who knows, maybe she will have a chance but she is so known as the MHWGO singer that it would be pretty hard for her to break away from that. People like to pick on Celine alot and I think the public would probably think she was crazy and they would probably take it as one big joke unfourtunitly.

 

I'm not saying Celine couldn't do it because I believe that Celine can truly do anything, but it would take a long time to build up a whole new career basically. You don't win awards like Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame overnight, so it would take time for her to build that status in the Rock world if she were to crossover and be known as just a rock artist and totally ditch her past style of music.

 

I don't really know anything about the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame though, but I assume that they would be looking for artists with huge rock and roll success that spans decades of rock hits. Just my opinion anyways.

 

Not saying that Celine couldn't do it. I don't want anyone to take my comments the wrong way because I truly believe that Celine can achieve anything she wants because she is truly that talented!

 

It's exciting to think what could be next in Celine's career, maybe she will get that award someday or maybe she will win an Oscar for a film? We will see. Time will tell what Celine's future success will be. All I know is that whatever Celine decides to do, she will give all of herself and blow us away for many years to come! :-D

Well, I've read it all now. I feel cheated. I don't get that at all when I hear it. :unsure: Maybe I need a therapist now.... :doh:

 

However when I hear it live it does give me shivers so maybe there is hope for me after all! :giggle: (and for all the people that are going to respond about the "live" word, I meant seeing it in person!)

I am with you on the live thing. While it may not be "live"... Seeing her do it, in person, there's nothing like it. Makes you go "Now that's CELINE DION on stage." It's utterly showstopping and jawdropping!

At least Aldo wants a younger image for celine, thats why he fired her band.

About that im curious to see who replaced them...

 

Rene always wants her to duet with dead people...
