Talking about LCMM video... I've always wondered if the little girl who appears in the video riding a bycicle is Mara Wilson (2:20 min), the girl who played Matilda's movie.

You know this idea was just too crazy not to try out and INDEED it fits the video perfectly!

It's so weird to see how 'climaxes' in the video actually work with climaxes in the song! :jawdrop:

I don't think SLS was already recorded in April 2013.... but it would have been AWESOME if Céline recorded playback for SLS at the same time as QPVSA! Most countries wouldn't have seen QPVSA anyway, so Sony could have easily released the same video, except for the playbacks!!

 

It still baffels me that a French album got THREE videos while her English album only got ONE :rolleyes:

 

It was amazing Celine had time to do some playbacks and we got a video :wub:

 

I still think if they decide to release the song as a single the album would get a new life, it is not to late for that yet :hmm:

 

We had several videos from the 90's that was a mashup of other videos, Only One Road, Je sais pas and call the man have the same shoot

 

The idea came... nothing to do :innocent: just surfacing youtube :sofunny: by the way i love mix songs on youtube :-D

 

other videos that i tried it was Love can move moutains with save your soul, but QPVSA with SLS it is just perfect, a video that didn't came

Definitely not. Mara is a year younger than me and the girl on the bicycle looks to be about the same age Mara was when she made Matilda, which is about 9 years old. Mara was only 5 in 1992.

LoL it's crazy!!! @celinesonds where did you get the idea of mix videos and songs?? That's a great idea!!!! :thumbsup2: So now we can say we got SLS video!!! :giggle:

I just tried, it's true!!! :D looks like this video was made for SLS! And it would be a good idea for future music videos. If they want to save time and plan to release a French and an English song, they could just shoot the singing scenes twice with different songs haha That's better than getting no new videos for other songs at all Edited by ryba

I see what you mean. The little girl does look similar to Mara Wilson, but it is 100% not her unfortunately.

i have watched Sur les plaines this week. It gave me confidence in Scott Price as the new director. You feel the orchestra with him.

I think she will for sure still be using her corded mic for the new show because she wanted it so strongly and even gave reasoning as to why she wanted a corded mic over a mic with know cord.

 

I really like how Celine is kind of old school in her ways. She still uses a walkman. LOL. Then again, so do I so I guess that's why I like it. :-D

I guess it would be called a discman. LOL. I have always called it a walkman. I never thought to think that they would have changed the name from back in the day when they were still playing it on cassettes. It looks like I'm behind in the times to. :laugh:

My discman that plays cd/mp3 says cd walkman right on it, so I think it's ok for people to still say walkman.

 

I might only be 26, but I'm ancient and I like it! :P LOL.

Me too! I wish she recorded more Beatles songs. Really loved Celine's version of Because. And of course Here, There & Everywhere, Beautiful Boy, Something... Such great tunes. Wish a Beatles song could make it into the Vegas set list.
