I found this comment on amazon under My Love: 3.0. Can someone explain this or give me a link to hear it?

 

 

"Think Twice" is the first one and it leaves us breathless and hungry for more. The track contains totally alternate vocals and some different instrumentation (beginning from the very first note). It's a beautiful experience. Was this track put on here by mistake? There's no mention of it being alternate. Fans want more!"

Isn't this version beautiful? The only thing it's missing is the "NO NO NO NO NO!" and I'd prefer it over the official one. I just love the way this version starts... I prefer the instrumentation here.

 

Also, 3.0 has a version of All By Myself that has one minor difference -- the part leading up to the big "Don't wanna be... all by myself... ANYYYMOORRRREEEEE" is actually silent, which is more dramatic if you ask me. The third disc also contains an alternate version of Only One Road. It's the same vocals, but the music is a little different.

 

Basically, I already owned the Ultimate Essential Collection. Then The Essential 3.0 came out and... -_- Celine is determined to make me spend money! :wub:

I really love the instrumentation of the 3.0 version!!! :laugh: That's what I was thinking about it! Think Twice just isn't as fun without the No!'s haha!

So I was looking at the Wikipedia page for FIY and something weird struck me...

 

BYLM was released in February 1996 as a single, IACBTMN was released in July 1996 as a single, ABM was released in October 1996 as a single... and then, nothing, but all of a sudden in June 1996, these singles were released all in the span of three weeks:

 

"Call the Man"

Released: June 23, 1997

"Make You Happy"

Released: July 7, 1997

"Dreamin' of You"

Released: July 14, 1997

 

What's the deal??? I didn't even realize the last two were singles. Why all at once? No wonder they didn't chart.

Call The Man was the only one that got some promotion from the last 3 singles you mentioned; it was performed by Celine during several concerts of the Falling Into You World Tour and at the 1997 World Music Awards. Also, an edited version of the music video for Next Plane Out was used as the official music video for this single.

 

According to the Falling Into You Tour Book, the song Make You Happy was scheduled to be included in the setlist of one of the legs of the tour, but it was cut in the last moment and was never included in any show. The single was released in Brazil only.

 

The single Dreamin' Of You was released only in Mexico. It was played in a lot of radio stations in that country by the time it came out. It's a song that has a big potential.

Don't worry, it's not really interesting; they just used images from the non-singing version of the Je Sais Pas music video and played the other songs.

Thanks for the info on the flip flops! I was wondering cause I always see her in those extravagant heels so I was wondering if she wore simple shoes once in a while :P

 

And the LCMM video and shoot was amazing! She looked so youthful and pretty ^_^
