Ya she does sound a bit like Britney at times during this song, but i think its just because the song is kinda Britneyish!!! :giggle:

That reminds me, i think Celine sounds very much like Shania Twain in "If Walls could Talk"..... :yes:

 

Well that's cus Shania Did the backing vocals for the song, so it doesn't sound like her, it is her haha :)

Guys, make sure to watch the Jounée à Musique documentary. It's from 1996 and features really rare footage of Celine, for example, René playing the famous tape that Céline's family sent to him, clips from the Incognito album premiere, one of the hosts of The Tonight Show introducing her on November of 1990 (they just show the introduction, not the performance and that makes me mad! I guess we'll never know what she sang that night...), they also show recording session for Misled and, near the end of the special, a clip of Céline performing Because You Loved Me during a special and short tour she did in support of the album Falling Into You in mid 1996.

Céline Dion Live 2016 in Antwerp (June 20, 2016)

Céline Dion Live 2017 in Birmingham (July 27, 2017)

As far as I know, Shania only say "Secret" at the beginning of the song. I don't she provides backing vocals! She provides them on Goodbye Is The Sadddest Word.

 

Shania was a well established star by the time All The Way was released!

Just seen the cover/poster of ''CTTEOTW'' again today, and maybe its just me but on the stage of that cover/picture, there are photos... and top left there is one of celine laying down with headphones on... does that appear on the english/french version of this tour doc. and if so can you plz tell me more about it :)

yesterday they played Celine's version of Open Arms from Vegas on radio in Quebec!

 

I was surprised, its not a single, its not a song you can buy, it was just a TV appearance....

I just saw this comment on a Huffington Post article about Titanic 3D and had to laugh:

You know guys, I've been thinking about this for a while so, finally, I'm gonna ask a question. I've heard many times that Mariah's 'Emotions' is one of the hardest pop songs ever but I honestly don't know so much about singing. Here on the forum we have some true experts. So what do you think? Is it really that hard? I've wondered... Could someone like Celine do it?

Thanks Thomas... would love to know what CD she is listening to... but as she has a sheet of paper on her lap, she was probably learning a song for the world tour as it looks early in the tour when her hair was very blonde.

It seems that lawsuit between Céline and french tabloid Ici Paris began ( she was on cover in august 2010 with headline that she was hospitalized and twins are in dangerous)

It'll be interesting to see how that lawsuit works out. It's so long ago, I'd forgotten it was coming up (though apparently that's due to my extreme old age http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac203/j-manley/Emoticons/smack.gif )

 

Depends what kind of photo/article it is I guess. But it does seem a little bit more than coincidence.
