that's not to see, but to listen; on the Celine Dion album you have the music introduction and vaguely in the back ground you hear Céline speaking the verse ;)

Did anyone hear, Rosie O'donnell's show on OWN has been cancelled? Now Celine can't do her reunion interview with Rosie. I was really looking foward to another interview with them. :down: I think Celine and Rosie are really funny together.

Thanks. It was. I'm better now. Taking it a day at a time.

 

 

Rosie's show was cancelled due to poor viewership. They just didn't have the audience. Apparently, Oprah is also laying off about 30 workers. It seems that people only want to watch a certain kind of show (reality TV) and everything else is thrown to the curb. That's just my opinion though. I liked Rosie back in the day but it seems she kind of had a hard time finding her footing this time around. I personally couldn't get into the show.

My favorite Celine songs at the moment:

I Knew I Loved You - Just listened to this song today for probably only the third song. Absolutely beautiful. Amazing vocals. Great lyrics.

I'm Your Angel - I love the lyrics of this song and the vocals and the ending.

All By Myself - It's always been one of my favorites but right now I feel like I connect with this song a lot and I feel it and emotion with it now.

Tell Him - A song expressing a great emotion of wanting to be in love but unsure.

If You Asked Me To - Another great song. Love the lyrics here.

Just Walk Away - One of her greatest songs. Ever.

Next Plane Out - I love this song right now.

Love Doesn't Ask Why - Great lyrics.

I Love You - A beautiful song, great lyrics.

Dreamin' Of You - Amazing song. One of my favorites.

Falling Into You - Nice slow song with great lyrics.

Look at what I saw in a brazilian fan site; apparently, the fan saw an add in the UK showcasing something that was scheduled to be released on CD, VHS and DVD on January 23, 2001. That "something" was the Millenium Concert. The release date for US and Canada was January 12, 2001. Also take a look at the original idea for the cover of the ATW DVD.

that atw dvd is definalty fake and fan made....

ok, so the ATW one is fake, but what about the Millenium? maybe that huge delay on the release date was because of the bonus material... who knows... it's also possible that it's a fake cover too...

Davey, it wouldn't be the first time they had waited a year after the concert. Well....possibly the FIRST time, but surely not the only time... lol.

I'm listening to the "Live in Boston" bootleg from the TC tour. Here are my thoughts as I listen to it (yes, Tyler, this type of post might be familiar to you):

 

*Intro: We all know what they did with the acapella intro for IDAN for the live album... -_-

*I Drove All Night: Lipped

*The Power Of Love: No differences with the home video except for the lipped-dubbed thing

*Speech: They shortened tremendously for the album and dvd!!!

*Taking Chances: Was edited for the home video as well, even part of the "live" section of the song; the "maybe you could take me in..." line starts at the right moment in the release, but Celine started a couple of seconds later in the actual concert

*It's All Coming Back To Me Now: Lipped

*Because You Loved Me: Sounds just like the home video release

*To Love You More: Lipped

*New Mego's Flamenco: Was a little bit shortened for the dvd OR very edited sound during post-production

*Eyes On Me: Lipped

*All By Myself: Same as the live album except for the big note... I still can't believe they decided to release that take on the big note.... Didn't they realize it sounds AWFUL? God... However, it still impresses non-fans

*I'm Alive: Same as the dvd

*Shadow of Love: Same as the dvd

*Fade Away: Same as the dvd

*I'm Your Angel: Why did they delete it from the home video release and kept the intro for EOM???? Really a flawless performance, except for that nasal thing in her voice. The crowd really goes wild as Barnev starts singing his first lines. Celine delivers amazing belts that she finishes with breathtaking high notes.

*Alone: Same as the dvd except for the lipped-dubbed thing, just like TPOL

*My Love: Same as the dvd

*The Prayer: Same as the dvd except for a couple of notes by Celine, really amazing

*Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore: The intro speech was a little bit edited for the home video release. Not exactly my favorite live performance of the song.

*We Will Rock You: It was shortened for the dvd

*The Show Must Go On: They mixed the performances from Montreal and Boston for the Boston dvd, it's clear when you hear the original recording from the audience. There are certain differences in the notes that she hits and the way she hits them.

*I Got The Feelin': Final notes are different. The first one is not as high as on the dvd, they chose the Montreal performance for the home video release.

*It's A Man's World: Lot of differences from the dvd; a completely different live version.

*Love Can Move Mountains: She starts the performance with a couple of ad-libs. The same is pretty much like the dvd. One of the notable differences is that she doesn't say "oh I know you can sing..." to the dancer. That's probably from another night in Boston. This is the only notable difference.

*River Deep, Mountain High: Great ad-libs at the beginning that weren't included in the dvd. There are other differences, but not very important to my taste.

*My Heart Will Go On: Lipped

Lately I've been LOVING the song "I Knew I Loved You" which I used to not like for some reason but it's absolutely beautiful and still shows her voice off in a more subtle way.

I'm straight and I'm a proud Celine Dion fan! :-D My father likes her music as well. And I also have a few friends who are really amazed by her.

Ya she does sound a bit like Britney at times during this song, but i think its just because the song is kinda Britneyish!!! :giggle:

That reminds me, i think Celine sounds very much like Shania Twain in "If Walls could Talk"..... :yes:
