So, there had been rumors that there where HD recording of the Celine concerts with a great view (this was back when Celine had barely gone back to las vegas). Was this true? haha. I hadn't been in here in a long time.

During the documentary Celine: 3 Boys and a New Show, some HD clips from the opening night are shown, as well as from March 16 show. They probably filmed the full show, but I'm 90% sure they'll keep it for themselves forever...

Has anyone else noticed that Celine touches Andrea's mic, at the end of the prayer last September? Its at the point where Celine can no longer hold the last note. Becuase Andrea is blind, maybe he doesnt know when to end and Celine can no longer hold the note, so she nudges him to let him know to finish.

She never hit his mic, she was just raising her arm. His mic never moves one bit, just the camera angle makes it look like she could have hit it, but she really didn't.

I hate to be a nit pick, but as a blind person myself, could soemone look a little more in to this? And if she doesn't do that to let him know to end the note, how does he do this? I have ALWAYS longed to know how she lets him know she can't hold it any more so he needs to finish. Thanks. There are two of us on here who are blind, and we'd really like to know any insights about Celine and Andrea that you have.

What is everyone's favorite Celine mini-concert? And by mini concert I mean about 3-5 songs...My favorite may be the one in 1992 where she sang LCMM/BATB/NothingBBMH/LBDBusinessman ....all were top notch vocal performances. Loved it. Loved the big choir for LCMM and the way she sang the ad libs in the song.

 

Divas 1998 was great also, though I wish she would have sang something else instead of RDMH.

 

The Sainte Justine performances were great to, though her voice wasn't in its best at the time but I loved how she sang Quand on n'a que l'amour again.

 

The Taratata performances were pretty good as well. I'd like to see her do more TV shows where she sings a set like that.

My favorite one has always been her couple of performances at the 1999 Juno Awards. I liked the 3 performances at The Today Show in 2007 too.

I just watched it a few times. I also don't think she touches him or the mic (although it appeared as if she did in my first viewing). The music had ended and they both finished their notes. I believe it's as simple as that.

Yeah that period I agree was awful. She went from looking SO good during the whole of the "A New Day Has Come" promotional period and the Chrysler promotional pics are, in my opinion, some of the best she's ever done to looking SO bad with the short blonde hairstyle. I think she herself knew as well as she had about 10 different hairstyles with the blonde colour in such a short time. As Rene himself said he should've stepped in as Celine's manager and not her husband and done something about it, particularly with the important "A New Day..." launch. I think there was relief all round when we seen Celine had returned to her old style and colour at The Grammy Awards when she performed "Dance With My Father."

) is incredible.

She sounds so amazing when she sings bluesy/jazzy songs.

Whitney was on various drugs, odds are it was a side effect from too many drugs. And Celine does sweat, take a look at the HQ pics of the TC tour. You'll see she sweats, I think its easier to see in the short light purple dress. Someone pointed it out before.

I'm sure every entertainer sweats to some degree. Just from the adrenaline and energy that you're generating from performing. I suppose that one main reason would definitely be from the lights. It gets hot when you're in the spotlight.
