I have never seen ''Celine Dion''. The only fragrances we get here in SA from her are: ''Notes'', ''Belong'', ''Enchanting'' (and you have to search hard to find it), ''Sensational'' and ''Chic'' (which only came out last month). Oh yeah, and a few stores had ''Spring in Province'' once, but now I can't find it anywhere.

I went to the store that a forum member works at, Disadiva, and found Belong. I didn't check out how much it cost.

 

I can just picture my suitcase when I come back from Las Vegas. It will be full of Céline Dion parfumes and some stupid stuff I bought at the Celine Dion shop

Well I guess if it didn't work, we'll find out sooner or later, because she might go back to New York. Sometimes the places they go and the stuff they do give away whether or not she is (like Disney World), so we should just wait and see what her next move will be...

I don't know if the ANDHC was lipped or not. It's hard to tell.

 

Whether it was actually live and just dubbed or fully lipped, we don't know. Either way, this is only an issue for AEA, GTSW, and When The Wrong One Loves You Right. The last was pretty obvious and in my opinion a complete disgrace. Seriously... Beyonce lipping to Celine's background vocals? Completely idiotic.

I don't think the entire thing was lipped/dubbed. More like the second part...after all the solos and towards the ending.... Idk... I've never really listened to the studio version so I probably can't say but it doesn't have much of a "live feel" to it. Not to mention most videos that have lip syncing debates in the comments are always the same case: It's actually lipped and it's a fight against the stans who can't get over their pride for something that isn't true.

 

Not saying this one is, but 95% of the time (for any artist) that is the case.

 

And I just watched the studio now and the "i'll never say goodbye" part sounds the same as the studio but the belted note after that is different. Maybe it really was live.

Yeah I think it was all live. Don't forget she was in top shape that day, lots of her performances were very close to the studio versions.

I remember one time after the Junos where she talked about that. How she has the chance to have great songs given to her by very talented songwriters cuz she doesn't write her own songs. And she always liked to take those opportunity to thanked them. It used to be on youtube but I can't find it now. But Alex is right there are many interviews through the years where she mentioned that. Lol. I'm terrible at listening to all the songs. I've only listened to every single song for 2 albums and probably most for all the others. Lol!! No, it's 3 albums! LTAL, TC, OH..... Unison I've heard all but two, Celine Dion probably only half, TCOML probably half, FIY all but maybe 1-2, TAST all but 1-2, ANDHC 2/3 of them probably, Miracle only 2-3.

 

And I'm even worse with French songs. Don't shun me. lol!

I have been a fan of Celine since forever. What she has accomplished, just amazes me. What an incredible voice. I saw her o the oprah shoe the other night, and she was just beautiful, with such a gracious heart. I can listen to her all day long. Did anyone see that ring she had on? WOW! Only she can make something like that look georgeous. I would love to get an autograph picture of her, iif anyone knows how I can do that.

I've just listened My Love in different live performance. Can someone explain why she had so emotional (sometime she's hardly to finish the song without crying)? Always tear in her eyes when she sang it. If she sing it for the first time then ok but you see, she's sing it for many times.

 

To her, the song is special? It talks about her life or her marriage or something? English is not my mother language, so may be I can't understand the whole meaning of the song

''My Love'' was written by Linda Perry after a conversation she had with Celine and yes it has a very special meaning to Celine. It basically talks about how Celine sometimes forget to take care of herself because she is too busy taking care of other people. I think ''My Love'' refers to different loves (if you understand what I mean). First it could refer to Celine's family and friends, but I think it also means her fans as well as her love singing.

 

I think how emotional she gets during that song depends on how she is feeling when she sings it. For instance, on Oprah she cried a lot while singing it even though she had been singing it for almost a year at that stage. But she was sick that day and the whole episode was very sad and touching so she was obviously moved by it.

 

Edit: Maybe I should just add that Celine did an still do these things because it was her dream, but sometimes things was/is not easy. She can either feel sorry for herself or accept it and make the best of it. That is what the song says at the end: that Celine accepted her choices and who she is.

I found Celine: Through the Eyes of the World available as a torrent download, telesync though.

 

I do download stuff but I'm definetly waiting for it on a DVD. This is tempting though, but a very bad quality
