Lou555 Posted March 3, 2010 at 03:13 AM Posted March 3, 2010 at 03:13 AM This year the geniuses of the producers decided that there won't be ANY MUSICAL PERFORMANCES AT ALL...First time I'm glad that Celine doesn't have a nomination http://www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/inde...academy-awards/
Acacia Posted March 3, 2010 at 04:31 AM Posted March 3, 2010 at 04:31 AM Wow, that's going to be one boring award show! Wonder how they'll do selling tickets?!! http://oi52.tinypic.com/2aaavxd.jpg ♥ Thank you, Céline for giving me the greatest birthday I could ask for! ♥
Claudette Posted March 3, 2010 at 05:32 AM Posted March 3, 2010 at 05:32 AM So I'm making mp4s of all Celine's old TV performances to put on my ipod and I started with ''Rosie O'Donnell''. Can somebody tell me if I have all her performances on that show: It's All Coming Back To Me Now (1996)Seduces Me (1996)My Heart Will Go On (1997)Let's Talk About Love (1998)That's The Way It Is (1999)A New Day Has Come (2002)To Love You More (?) The Magic of Christmas Day and Another Year Has Gone By... I have all those and these two so if you need files let me know. Thanks! I forgot about the Christmas songs... I have everything except TLYM. Do you have a file of that one? http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
davidjag79 Posted March 4, 2010 at 01:02 PM Posted March 4, 2010 at 01:02 PM I'm pretty much sick of this subject and kinda of over it..... I mean does Celine really have to still prove herself? She is not only the biggest selling female artist of all time she has an undeniable out of the world voice, she is an amazing person, wife and mother! Celine will probably not be #1 in todays charts (i would love to see it, we all would) just because the music industry has change so much. It is not about the talent and voice anymore... its who's hot and who will make the club jump unfortunarely! Besides have you heard the top billboard charts lately? (outside chance her collaboration w David Guetta) As far as Vegas Celine is the Queen who can sell out 5years running every night? CELINE highest selling female artist of the decade! ; ) for example Mariah Carey is on the charts these days and her Vegas show completely flopped! So us as Celine rans lets support the things Celine works on instead of critize them! Let her do AMAZING music WE all love and not be so concerned what the general public thinks! Oh Celine... How i love the... let me count the ways! I have waited for so long...for a miracle to come, A New Day Has Come!! http://i49.tinypic.com/1q1q4i.jpg
Belle Céline Posted March 4, 2010 at 04:03 PM Posted March 4, 2010 at 04:03 PM is there a specific date of when Celine was at the Atlantis resort when she was pregnant with RC? I'm hoping to find some HQ's but I need a specific date.... “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
MTJ Posted March 4, 2010 at 05:36 PM Posted March 4, 2010 at 05:36 PM Wow. So I'm doing a performance of RDMH at my school's Drag Idol this year. We had public auditions and I did the TC version of All By Myself (and was probably the most successful), but I decided for the more important show I should have a little dance. So I'm using this video from just before the tour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQTap4NNsLI&hd=1 OMD. That little kick step step kick dance she does is incredible. I've been practicing for half an hour, still can't get it even close, and I'm sweating like a dog. How does she do that and sing!
celinedream Posted March 4, 2010 at 07:22 PM Posted March 4, 2010 at 07:22 PM In Montreal last year during the Diverscité festival i saw a drag queen doing RDMH too go for it !! An angel was looking through,It was you,Yeah you...it'sYou are the REASON.

mirage Posted March 5, 2010 at 11:01 AM Posted March 5, 2010 at 11:01 AM I was just looking through my AND program books, and i noticed that in the first book that there is a musician extra... Julie McInnes who plays cello, and in 1 picture you see her also rehearsing with the back-up singers...For the ones who where at the first shows, how long was she in AND? I never heard about her I wonder does Celine's band ever write songs and music for her? I mean they're all very talented, and beside their work for Celine they a lot of other music things, but never for her right?
mirage Posted March 5, 2010 at 04:53 PM Posted March 5, 2010 at 04:53 PM some quotes from For Keeps: There is a strange phenomenon she hasn't quite figured out: Most of the time when she's not in great shape and she feels like she's compensating vocally, the audience goes wild, but when she feels like she just performed at the top of her game, their reactions are mild. And every time, when I'm tired out, puffy and just so sick that it shows, they go crazy... hahah that's because we LOVE it when you do something different singing... We need to do an unplugged show. Either we do a jazz or blues album, an unplugged show with rock and roll band, or a classic album with an symphony orchestra Also according to For Keeps, ANDHC was the first song when the show opened... i thought that NB was the song also on the premiere...
Claudette Posted March 5, 2010 at 05:08 PM Posted March 5, 2010 at 05:08 PM (edited) some quotes from For Keeps: There is a strange phenomenon she hasn't quite figured out: Most of the time when she's not in great shape and she feels like she's compensating vocally, the audience goes wild, but when she feels like she just performed at the top of her game, their reactions are mild. And every time, when I'm tired out, puffy and just so sick that it shows, they go crazy... That is because when Celine is sick or tired she puts more into her performances and people notice it and see that she is giving it her all. Celine might think that people don't notice it, but we do... We need to do an unplugged show. angelil78 Posted March 5, 2010 at 06:27 PM Posted March 5, 2010 at 06:27 PM Also according to For Keeps, ANDHC was the first song when the show opened... i thought that NB was the song also on the premiere... Yes Nature Boy was the first song of AND.. I only saw Nature Boy as the first song at the 5 shows I saw on Wikipedia it says "Nature Boy" was the show's opening number from March 2003 to November 2004. It was replaced by "A New Day Has Come."
I Love You Posted March 6, 2010 at 12:59 PM Posted March 6, 2010 at 12:59 PM Question has Celine ever been to Palm Springs before.
fyoung98 Posted March 6, 2010 at 08:42 PM Posted March 6, 2010 at 08:42 PM Where can I find downloadedable instrumentals of Celine's music? I want to include some as background music for a powerpoint presentation I'm doing. Something like "Fade Away" or " Can't Fight the Feeling". "Anything is possible" http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7202/6841218478_1c7ac7bb2b.jpgDear Celine http://www.flickr.com/people/76163952@N05/ https://www.createspace.com/3456901
Only1Road Posted March 7, 2010 at 09:10 AM Posted March 7, 2010 at 09:10 AM I wonder how many other people have "Only One Road" as their favorite song, or in their Top 10 favorite Celine songs or something. Just trying to get to know people better, seeing as I am fairly new.

nearfarwhereveryouare Posted March 7, 2010 at 02:50 PM Posted March 7, 2010 at 02:50 PM I'm not sure if it's included on any more releases. volleyceline Posted March 8, 2010 at 02:34 AM Posted March 8, 2010 at 02:34 AM Like seriously, in some of her songs, i.e. A New Day...Live in Las Vegas album has many clips of her speaking. I could just listen to her and fall asleep, that's how soothing her voice is. http://fotos.fotoflexer.com/33a2e2da594db4153c226a19ede91edb.jpghttp://fotos.fotoflexer.com/e6aaaff4173e83688975f83ef4c440ea.jpghttp://fotos.fotoflexer.com/7dcd605675e4621374fb2ab0c990b231.jpghttp://fotos.fotoflexer.com/6f81b75908662ef33cd2ed5d0a6c8208.jpg Some people have everything. dab1000 Posted March 8, 2010 at 02:40 AM Posted March 8, 2010 at 02:40 AM Attached you will find a link to an original song and video called OPRAH: Let Love Lead The Way. . . (DRAFT - Awaiting for Permissions) that I would like gave to Oprah. After she views the video and listens to the lyrics I’m quite sure that she would be pleased. Out of respect and professional consideration I have only shared this piece with a few personal friends. And frankly their responses and feedback on it have been sincerely positive. Naturally I am proud of this composition and would love to share it with the world. Therefore I would like to obtain the proper permissions to use the images used in the video in order to be able to publish it on the web (Youtube). Private link to Video: Once you go to the link you will find a letter addressed to Oprah that is located on the left side of the screen (where the owner details are located). I have worked on this musical/video piece for many months after hearing about her desire to conclude her show and I surely hope that it is “Actually delivered to and shared with Oprah (herself).” I appreciate your valuable time and trust that this musical piece will actually be shared with Oprah. Sincerely David Bailey770-369-0026 Who knew back in 1986 a daytime television show would surface that would affect the lives of so many across the world. For twenty-five years your program has helped the culture grow and more importantly mature. It’s amazing how we (your audience) have embraced both you and your shows platform. Over the course of time, you have become not only a part of the fabric of our culture; but also you have become a part of our lives much like a close friend. As a means to commemorate the pending conclusion of your show and as you look unto the commencing of your brand new network venture, my music collaborator and I were inspired to celebrate it with an original song along with an accompanying video. Through the years you have taken your viewers on a journey of inspiration, education and spiritual enlightenment. You have encouraged us to become better individuals and to be better stewards of all of our resources to help improve lives for all mankind. dab1000 Posted March 8, 2010 at 02:49 AM Posted March 8, 2010 at 02:49 AM If you read the posting ... It's a song that Celine could sing and pay tribute to her friend as she closes her 25 years of her show. If you give it a listen I think you would agree.. Thanks David

That song is absolutely beautiful. The singer has a great voice, but I could see Celine singing it to her on Oprah's last show; its going to be a teary mess anyway, why not let Celine get rid of all the torrents of tears she has been trying to hold back. Celine and Oprah have a special relationship also. Allie Posted March 8, 2010 at 06:22 AM Posted March 8, 2010 at 06:22 AM So I was looking at the some of the pictures posted here and I noticed in this picture, you can see a long, skinny scar (at least I think it's a scar?) right above her belly button: http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae140/maggiecreekroad/scar.png Now...this may be my brain totally failing me, but I can't seem to remember any type of surgery she had or anything that would explain this scar? She didn't have a Cesarean section with RC, did she? It may be kind of weird and creepy, but the origin of this scar is something that is interesting me (mostly cause I find scars totally hot) and the fact that I can't figure out where it's from (if we know) is bugging.

Yes she had a c-section with RC. She had to after 23 hours of labor and he just wasn't budging. Turns out his umbillical cord was around his neck. C-section scars as usually below the line where the bikini falls so you probably won't see her's. they are across the stomach usually in sort of a U shape if I'm not wrong. don't they stomach go from top to bottom when doing a c-section? I think they might if the baby is turned wrong and wouldn't come out sideways. I'm no expert on c-sections so I could be TOTALLY off on what I said but from what I've watched on tv and know from my brother's girlfriends c-section her's was across the belly from one side the other and not up and down.
