Belle Céline you are correct: a C-section is usually done at the bottom of your stomach and is across the stomach from the one side to the other side. There are actually some pictures here somewhere on the forum where you can see Celine's scar from her C-section.

 

By the way, in some HD pictures, you can also see two tiny scars, one on the left and one on the right of her belly button. I think they are also part of the hernia surgery, because as far as I know, they make more than one incisian for that surgery .

haha in the interview snippet she did coming out of the restaurant in NYC after Alexander McQueen died, she was saying how she had been trying to call people but she guessed everyone was on the phone....

 

who the heck doesn't answer the phone when CELINE DION calls?!?! "I'm getting another call, oh it's just Celine, I'll talk to her later..." Celine, call me, we'll talk all day. :lol2:

Yeah that's right. My mum had the exact same 'cesarean' cut when she had dermoid ovarian cysts (the size of tennis balls! :o ) a few years ago. They then used the same scar line for her hysterectomy last year, so I don't think it's ever going to disappear now! :giggle:

I was at an annual ball at work on saturday and they had a Las Vegas themed ball.

 

The host said "there is no Las Vegas without Céline Dion" and a cousin of mine (who is a singer) came and sang MHWGO and BYLM :)

Then at the end when we were going home they had another song of Célines playing on a cd.. I was a bit well tipsy and I am not 100% it was Céline singing.. don't think so but it was her song :)

I had the same DG phone till the stupid thing stopped charging. I need to get a new phone pronto and get rid of my horrible black razr and get a memory card so I can transfer my stuff from the gold phone to my new one. I REFUSE to part with my Celine pics and video's from the concert or my custom ringtones I made especially the one of RC singing and Celine's talking from Columbus. :P

I was born by c-section to, the scar on my mom's stomach was across (horizontal) and not vertical top to bottom, it was just under the belly button I believe. I know most of the time they are done so the scar falls below the "bikini line" so you can't really see them most of the time.

I've been looking for the last hour. Can't find them. I know there are some pics where you can see the scar from the C-section clearly. I also remember her talking about it in some interview. Something about the fact that it does not bother her having the scar or something... I remember it was something sweet. I did find this pick and it looks like a scar just above her bikini, but I'm not sure:

By the way, I remember reading an article a few years ago saying that once Celine got a terrible stomach ache just before a show so they took her to hospital and they diagnosed her with appendicitis, but she asked the doctor to give her something for the pain and went back to do the show. After the show they took her back to the hospital and they removed her appendix. But I guess that was a load of crap, because I don't see any scars...

Which one? I'm not talking about the one above her belly button, but the one just above her bikini.

 

Edit: I wonder what Celine would say if she finds out we are discussing the scars on her belly... :giggle:

My sister had an ovarian cyst!!! But she beats your mom :msn-wink: - her's was the size of a football :o They normally make the c-section cut with the cysts, but since my sister's was so big, they had to do it vertically.

yeah I don't know either. I think the scar is more below the pants line and it's not that big.

Haha! The man taking the video totally yells at a lady for asking "who's inside" and he just says "I'm busy!" :o

 

And am I just reading it wrong or at the end when he asks her about Vegas does she seem a little snippy with her answer? :shrug:

 

She was probably just ready to go but it's nice to see that she does get tired of paparazzi SOMETIMES.

i'm kinda pissed cos Lara has a great studio duet with Josh Groban and Céline still doesn't! :glare:

 

 

oh Claudette... Hand in Hand was recorded in 1988, after the eurovisong song contest victory. it was another attempt (and last one) to conquer the German market with a german languaged song... it was only released on a promo 7" and never as a real single. I don't think it did much... also maybe céline recorded it in English too... but decided not to release it, cos she beat the UK that year! :giggle: :lol:

 

Hand in Hand was released on a eurovision song contest complilation cd around 2000 though... but I forgot how it's called...

I remember my trip to Montreal for the Taking Chances tour.

My mother, aunt and me ordered each a Celine Cake as a dessert after our lunch. It was way too much! :giggle:

But it tasted like heaven :wub:

Afterwards we made a couple of homeless people very happy with the rest of our cakes.

 

Unfortunately, I don't have the recipe for the cake, but if you get it, please let me now!

The Countess Luann deLesseps asked her house keeper "do you like Celine Dion?" and she said "oh yes very much." and Luann said "I saw her concert, I had an extra ticket I should have taken you if I'd known." I'm assuming this was the Madison Square Garden because this show was filmed over last year sometime.

 

This is from a WHILE ago and totally don't know if anyone ever posted the picture. But I just found it when the Countess tweeted a picture and this was in the same album. Looks like Jill and The Countess met her! :P
