Auto tune is always used on the studio recordings these days - but live performances from Celine are not - even the lipped tracks. HOWEVER - AND LILV DVD was auto-tuned - only on the lipped tracks - to make them sound slightly different.

Well, TLYM and IDAN sounded the same, and the only difference in IACBTMN was the autotune on "...you and I had ever made" But TPOL, IS and RDMH were more noticably different.

 

I'm sure they did something to the live performances. Some people said that the long final note in I Surrender was autotuned. :confused:

Hey guys! What do you think would be the best way to obtain Celine's autograph? I've tried to get a meet and greet with her, and it's nearly impossible! :pinch: Wondering what would be the best way...

The long note on IS is the only one on that list that I have really noticed, aside from RDMH.

There's a difference in the note at the end when you listen to some of the performances in the multimedia section so I like to think they haven't messed with it too much! :yes:

why am I just discovering "I Believe in You" with Il Divo????? I am in tears at 5:37 a.m. at my computer. Oh happy day.

 

I've been a fan for 20 yrs....and...she amazes me on a daily basis....I adore her. :heartbounce:

lol don't think so, it's been two years since I got my membership and still no sign of anything, I also renewed it about 2 months ago and also haven't received anything...

I am watching for the first time when Céline surprised the Canadian Tenors at Oprah and that made me cry like a baby. Loved the look on their faces :cry:

:hmm: I really don't think they will. I think the Canadian Tenors have already recorded it and there are at least 12 covers of this song that have been done in the past years I think. It's been a hit a few times already. So much so, that the author himself, Leonard Cohen, has asked everybody "please stop making covers of this song, no more covers please, enough already! :giggle:

 

But I agree with you their version(with Céline) is so beautiful and touching! I loved it! :wub:

oh ok :confused: that sucks. But yeah there are so many covers of that song. I wouldn't mind one more cover :innocent: but yeah from what you said, I doubt they will make a new one

 

maybe a brand new song :)

I would say Taking Chances. It's more rock than ANDHC and OH, but still has the same feel, in my opinion.

I wonder if Celine is going to take RC to the Shuttle launch this July.. I want to go see it and wonder if she might be there.. Probably not but just wondering since they live close by..

I also loved how Céline said that she was going to leave so Oprah could talk to the Canadian Tenors. She is so polite and nice, wonderful, lovely, amazing, incredible, fantastic.. i don't know enough english words to describe Céline

Their faces, especially the guitar player, were all priceless :laugh:

And it was very cute when she said she was going to step away and Oprah was like "NO STAY!"

Yesss she was going to go sit down and let them have their moment. So amazing. She never wants her star to shine too brightly over others. She has no idea how big her star is and how brightly it shines :lol:
