Someone at the french section is saying that Céline is 2 months pregnant.

 

I don't like April Fools jokes like that :nono:

 

What? Is it really an April Fools joke? How can people joke about that? Do they even care about Celine? That is not funny at all!

 

My french is far from perfect but everyone else there thinks it's an april fools joke.

 

Knowing that every Céline fan is waiting for that news and praying she's pregnang, that is a very nasty joke to make.

 

Can't wait for this day to be over.

 

But hey, would be kinda funny if she announced it today :giggle:

No, not 2 months, they should get their facts right :giggle: If she had IVF on march 10th, they would begin counting from Feb 24th (2 weeks before because of the period cycle stuff according to my friend who went through this) sooo IF she is pregnant, she would be 5 weeks + 1 day.

 

But this is just from what my friend told me.. They do the IVF when she ovulating and they count from the first day of the period I think... something like that.

 

Soooo maybe she's 5 weeks + 1 day preggers :) that would be nice.

 

But not two months tsh

I seriously don't get how someone can joke about it. It is the same thing as the tabloids writing that she is pregnant or had a miscarriage. Celine doesn't need that right now. She needs our love and support, not sick jokes like that. I really think there are some people out there that actually don't have a clue about the crap she has to go through to have a baby.

Yeah I remember how it broke her heart when National Enquirer said that she was pregnant with twins and people began to call her to ask if it was true. She has talked about it in interviews.

 

Maybe someone in the french topic can explain what kind of joke it was.. I hope I didn't understand it like I did.

Wow!!! That really is going too far as an April Fools. Maybe the person didn't think it out, as to how people would react. I hope that's the case because it would be real mean to want to fool fans in that way.

angelil78: I don't know, but if it was suppose to be a joke, I want to smack the person who started it. Like someone said: The perfume and Narnia thing is totally different (and actually funny), but joking about Celine being pregnant is totally not funny.

 

Anyway, let's all hope that Celine has a little baby growing inside of her tummy...

 

Edit: Acacia: I agree it is really mean fooling fans like that, but can you imagine what Celine would feel like if she gets to read it and she is not pregnant. It would break her heart.

I think woman understand this whole thing better and has more sympathy for Celine, since we understand a little better what it must feel like to want a baby and not being able to get pregnant and all the things she has to go through.

What an awful idea for a joke...not okay at all.

 

It is clear that it is a guy. Woman would never do something like that. Pretty sure that there are both women and men out there who would start this story, regardless of empathy. :P

I feel so sorry for Celine, she's going through so much and then the magazines who writes that she's pregnant and it breaks her heart, so she has enough already. And then the fans! Can't believe that a fan would do this!

I don't think you should be generalising here, it was just one guy who wrote it and it was stupid! I know many of the people in the French section in person and they are really sweet!

Ok fine I'm sorry for saying that they are nasty, but I still say that creating that topic was out of line. I don't care about the fact that he fooled fans, but the fact that he did not take Celine's feelings into consideration. It is really a sick joke.
