I think it may have been CFTF but I'm not 100% sure.

 

Anyway, today is a snow day! So I think I'll watch the SLP DVD for the first time ever! I got it for Christmas but have never gotten around to watching it..

 

I got mine in August and have only watched the extras , :doh:

 

 

And thanx for letting us know about the book Cheerfuljane :) :thumbsup2:

 

 

Lol, I'm kinda skipping all the non-Celine songs and all the non-Celine-singing parts. I skipped straight to DUAM and am skipping all the speeches.

 

BTW, I found another Celine karate kick! Lol! I'm trying to keep track, this is what I got so far:

I've seen some of it that I've dwl from here but I am having a problem with my region free dvd player :confused: and the program I installed on my laptop has expired. I think I should just buy the program so I can watch what ever I want

Okay, I watched it. Well, the last performance is actually playing now. But it was really good. I skipped all the non-singing parts though. I don't know any French except...merci, and vole (lol!), and it doesn't help that I miss points on Spanish tests for spelling "por que" Pour Que, lol....but anyway, her voice was really good; although, I'm kinda upset she didn't do the high notes on LEE as the guy that did them had the worst voice I've ever heard!

Don't even mention that guy. I don't think you can call what he does singing...

 

Anyways, definitely one of my favourite DVDs from Celine. Celine crying at the end just gets me everytime. :cry:

OMG I just had a creative spark of genius whilst trying to figure out my cake topper for my wedding.

 

The PQTME symbol, but of course!

So is there a really awesome drawing of the symbol anywhere on the forum?

yeeee! I :heart: it! One more wedding problem solved! TY Frida- I may just have to redraw it to send in to get made. I have to tell you all a story yesterday night my mom came into my room to tell me about her day she is a realtor. Well just when she was about to leave she told me she had a new client come into her office and wanting to rent a house for a few months. Me not being that intrested said ohh that good but she then proceded to say it was one Celine Dion's producer or tour manager associate ( she really didnt get the specifics because her partner was interviewing him), but anyway she told me he said "I've known her since she was singing in French whemn she was a pimply little girl." I keep on asking my mom for his name later on shell tell me and I'll google him and see what comes up. Edited by somethingblue474

Celine would be so impressed if she knew you were planning a celine themed wedding!!!Sounds deadly! I hope you get to tell her about it maybe one day....... Congtats by the way!! :flowers:

Lindsey, I have the best song for you for your wedding. I already picked it out for my own wedding (whenever that may happen lol) and I don't mind sharing :P Anyway, it would probably be used to walk down the isle to, but it is the instrumental version of the slow ANDHC. If you could have some strings and piano play it.....OMD. Anyway, just listen to the instrumental and imagine it lol

oh girl- oh yes- you and I think alike! I'm doing something like that, but not exactly! A New day is our "theme" and that's what I'm going to play right before I walk down, but remixed a special way ;) and then I'm walking down to something different and then our recessional is the fast A New Day! I mean it's going to be like a Céline symphony and I can't even wait! It couldn't be anything any different, that's exactly who I am, and i think the guests will understand and see it for what it represents! It's gonna be a party after that!

OMG

On the MSN home page they had two links. One was "George Clinton's son dies" and "Celine Dion's infertility battle" and I had just glanced down and read it as "Celine Dion's son dies".

And I totally FREAKED out. I had to take some deep breathes after that one.

That would be the worst thing ever, and I hope msn never scares me like that again :lmao:

I have a question I would like to find to the answer to. Does it exist some kind of record of all the places Celine has preformed? I am not looking for general appearances, but concerts, such as world tours and other concerts around the world. Preferably a complete list of all the places she held a concert in the 90's. Do any of you have such a list with specific dates? I know she toured a few times in Europe in the early/mid 90's, but I can't find any information about it.

I had a dentist apointment today at 5:15 but i didnt want to miss Celine's apreance on Oprah and i couldnt change my appointment either so i watched the entire show, but when i left to the dentist i was in a rush and took the wrong bus :laugh: i went the oppsite direction. then as i was walking on the side walk i slipped twice because i has jumping up and down cause i was so happy, i loved that interview. Celine actually made going to the dentist fun for me today!!! if Celine was on TV everyday, then i would never have a bad day again! :yes:

Does Thai and Korean subtitles on 'A New Day DVD' mean that Celine's albums have been sold very well in these two countries?

Have you noticed how the background vocals on the cd's have changed over the years

 

Like in the Celine Dion cd and TCOML they sound so high pitched.

I like them more now. I really don't like the background vocals in LCMM, I think they are terrible.

 

I think I would live a modern version of the song on a cd. I've heard the song live and it's a lot better than the original song IMO
