well I made sure to put either the 2nd or 3rd was when they were taken just in case. That way there's a better chance of finding them.

I have the special on VHS when it reaired but I know some songs were cut out when it reaired like GBTSW....I've never saw any of the stuff from before the show or anything. Just the show itself.

I've just watched the ''A New Day Has Come'' CBS special from the beginning for the first time - I've seen clips of it before but never the whole thing - and I almost fell of my bed laughing when she said the thing about how she does everything for RC and works so hard, but he still sh#ts on her. I can't believe she said that! :sofunny:

It's the same CBS special from 2002 that Frida and the others are talking about. It was so frigging cute! She kind of says it under her breath and everybody starts laughing and she does the whole ''Oops, I don't usually say things like that'' thing. I laughed so hard I almost fell off my bed. In the same special she has that dress on that has a veeeeery high slit and she wants to sit down on the stairs, so she shouts ''Oh, look over there'' to get people to look away. She is sooooo adorable! :in_love:

 

Oh dear, I really don't think I've seen it :o I need to see it, like NOW!!

Edit: That version also does not include Goodbye's (The Saddest Word). I also think the order might be a bit wrong, not sure though.

You think she's ever had to SNEEZE in the middle of a song on stage? I have been sneezing all day whilst trying to talk, etc, and I can only imagine about to burst out the big note in 'All by Myself' and ACHOO!

Today is Celine's sister, Liette Dion's birthday. Liette and Celine share a special bond, as Celine was a strong moral support for Liette during her daughter's battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Celine dedicated her song, ''Tellement j'ai d'amour pour toi'' to Liette in honour of her daughter, Karine.

 

Didn't Celine dedicate that song to her mother?

 

I think Melanie or Les Oiseaux du Bonnheur are the ones she dedicated to Karine.

Yeah that's what I've heard too, that Tellement j'ai d'amour pour toi was dedicated to her mother.

And I thought Vole/Fly was the one really dedicated to Karine, but I remember Céline saying in some interview how she was singing Les oiseaux du bonheur to Karine the moment she was slowly passing away..

This is so weird that you ask this. My brother (who cannot stand Celine) once told me that he saw a video of Celine singing TLYM with an asian woman playing violin. If I remember correctly he also mentioned a purple dress... :hmm: Edited by Claudette

Yes. I believe it was recorded from her FIY tour. Celine was wearing the same outfit she wore for the final three songs of the Brunei concert and the Asian girl on violen was also wearing white. It wasn't live though. It was the playback version.

It's the first time I have watched this, I know, shame on me :whistling: Celine totally cracked me up, her speech about RC being her new boss and it's actually the first time I've heard her say "s***"...

Has Celine actually ever used swear words?! I don't think I remember any occasion...

Yes. Do a Google Videos search for "Celine Dion To Love You More VH1 Live" and it should be one of the first videos to pop up. It won't be YouTube, but a site called tudou or something like that.

I loved that moment

 

But when recording for Taking Chances, she knocks some bottles down in the studio and she does say the F word when that happens

 

I don't remember what song it was but I think she was wearing black and white, I think

Anyway, today is a snow day! So I think I'll watch the SLP DVD for the first time ever! I got it for Christmas but have never gotten around to watching it..
