I have a random and stupid question. Did Celine re-record A Mother's Prayer that is on Miracle? Or is it the same as on the soundtrack of Quest for Camelot? Thanks!

 

yes, she did...on youtube you can even find a video from the recording which were in 2004

The difference between them is around 15 million. Her studio albums may flop but it did around 2 million roughly worldwide and not to forget her digital singles sales. The silly AIWFCIY sells even today and it brings her even closer when it comes to combined sales. It's Celine's catalog that's maintaining the distance between their sales. Once it stops, it won't be too long. But we must also consider another fact that the record industry is dying so the line-up will remain Madonna>Celine>Mariah for a very long time

A random qustion: Has Celine ever cancelled a show because Rene-Charles was sick and she wanted to stay with him? I know she did not during the tour... I think... but maybe in Vegas...

Well she has 3 different bodyguards but the one that stays with her even now that she's not touring is Nick- he's from Quebec.

In the tourbook it said she has six, Nick, Jeremy, Vincent, Carlo, Cary and Michael. Where three of those just for the tour? I assume since Nick is the only one who travels with her all the time. He doesn't like live with her though right? I'm sure he has his own house in Fl or somewhere.

 

About the cancelling shows if RC was sick, she might if he was like majorly sick but I figure if it was just a cold Rene would probably advise her to go on with the show because the fans paid money to see her and I'm sure not everyone would be able to come back if she rescheduled. IDK that's just what I think, RC would have Rene to stay with him and Linda and Alain as well as Maman Dion. He would be in capable hands for those hours Celine would be gone so I assume if he ever was sick Celine would be okay leaving him for a couple hours with Rene or her sister or mother as long as RC wasn't big time sick and she couldn't leave him.

her title means "at the heart of the stage," referring to the heart design of her LTAL tour stage

Yes but she has to take into account that fans pay a lot of money to see her and come from far away sometimes and it maybe their only chance to see her and it wouldn't look good on any performer, not just Celine if shows were cancelled everytime a child had a runny nose or sore throat. Now I know Celine wouldn't want to leave RC if he was really bad sick but if its just a common cold or cough or something little like that she would probably be okay leaving him for a few hours with his Papa, Grandmaman or Tante Linda I'm sure. Sometimes she might not have a choice but to leave RC home, take into account the trips to NY for the IVF she couldn't take him because of school so he stayed behind in FL with I assume Linda, and Maman Dion. I'm not sure that Rene was on that trip with Celine in October since I didn't see him in the photo's so he may have been at home with RC I wouldn't swear to that though. Rene may have just not been photographed at the time.

Come to think of it: it was a stupid question. Celine doesn't even always cancel when she is sick (if she starts postponing shows then you must know she is very sick). But it is still very hard for any mom to leave her baby at home and go to work when he/she is sick...

Sometimes even a mom like Celine has to leave her child even if she doesn't want to. It happesn to all parents at one time or another. RC is almost nine now and I'm sure she feels more comfortable leaving him at home with Rene or Linda or her mom, its not the same as when he was a baby and she nursed and he had to go with her.

I have an interesting question,,, Did celine mom know right the get go what her youngest wanted to do in life. Did she have plans for her to be where she is TODAY.Was this all what celine wanted to do since comming from a musicall family. If I remenber right she started to sing at the age of 3yrs old to 5 yrs old.Is that correct.

ok I'm in need of a video clip, its one from the Quebec AND dvd there is a part I want to make screencaps from when Celine comes home and kisses RC and he has that little toy thing that goes off like an alarm. The clip had english subs on it, it used to be on youtube but I can no longer find it. I only have one blurry cap from it, can anyone help me find the video?

So why don't More magazine and Headline News include Celine on their 10 Women over 40 who rock? They have Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Ethridge, Kylie Minogue, Steve Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Patti Smith, Pattie Labelle and Crissie Hind. They had a tenth but I don't remember who it was....They didn't even bother to mention Celine's TCWT tour was second in dollars behind Madonna. They just said she had the highest grossing tour. Celine's band are a band in their own right, they play clubs and bars when they aren't performing with Celine. Nanette Fortier is part of a Celctic band called Killian's Angels and at the minute she's part of the band at the Peepshow production at the Planet Hollywood Casino in Vegas.

Think Celine will def know over the next week, but they may not say anything just yet.

 

Do you mean while Celine's on a break etc? If so, then no they won't get paid - the band usually find other work while she's away.

According to For Keeps Celine wrote a song called Drop By Drop for Anne Marie she says its a dark and weird song.

Quite a while ago someone asked what Celine was singing in the background of BYLM, and the answer was "my voice" so I think that reply was meant for that topic. Or actually that post might have even been in this topic, but the original question wasn't quoted so the answer seems out of place just turning up on this page.
