Madonna seems like #1 to me now. Celine may have been before, but currently it seems like Madonna is in her PRIME! :wub:

Madonna is in her prime? You must be kidding. Her last few albums sales are flop. She's on her prime of touring, but not on record sales. Celine too.

 

I couldn't have said it better. Celine will always be number 1 no matter what.

 

 

Rene was amazingly attractive back then in the '60s Wow, and today as well. :whistling: :clap: :blushing1:

I am watching the american music awards and whitney houston is being honored as an international artist. I cant remember but has celine ever been awarded this award on the amas? i love whitney but think celine would have and definatly deserves it WAY more.

No. But Celine has received the Legend Award and the Diamond award at the WMAs. Both are very prestigious.

Totally agree with you! Céline, in my opinion, is the most legendary artist there ever was, and there will never be anyone like her! She has it all, the talent, the voice, the looks, the style, the charisma, the personality, she works hard, she's earned so much yet she's so humble and down to earth, she cares about stuff... She's the most near perfection there is. :in_love:

I totally agree with you she is truly an amazing artist, Classy in all sense. A true Singer THAT Sings live, and dresses amazingly. She totally deserved that award, more than Whitney. Plus they her, and Rene, are probably the most attractive couple in the music Bizz besides Keith Urban, and Nicole Kidman. Also dresses classes, and yet still nice. :flowers: :-D :yes:

Celine went through another round of invitro last weekend and they are now waiting to see if it worked or not. I think they will probably know the result within the next couple of days. It sounds like they are positive and Rene said Celine is very determined...

I so truly hope and pray that she falls pregnant this time. She really deserves to have another little one.

I don't know if this was posted but I thought it was an interesting story. I'd never read where Celine supported anyone during the election although questions were raised about who she would vote for if she could vote.

I remember reading somewhere that René saw Obama on tv making a speech a loooong time ago when he was a newly elected senator and said, "That man will be President of the United States one day." I have no idea where I read that though!

ok so can someone tell me why in the song Why Oh Why from LTAL Celine is supposed to sing this line "Don't you know that you're my reason, for my love, my life, my being. So secure and so damn sure my heart would surely die without you" but when you listen to the song she says "So secure, so so sure my heart would surely die without you." The word damn is left out, is there a reason for that? I saw on the lyrics on CelineDion.com that the word damn is in there but she doesn't sing it.

Sales wise, Madonna is the biggest seller with Celine coming a distant #2 and Mariah closing in on her at #3

They could have given Celine the International Artist award in 2007 when she sang Taking Chances but they gave that award to Beyonce. I love Queen B but seriously, B doesn't stand anywhere when it comes to Celine in the true 'International Artist' sense. But Celine might get that award sometime in the future.. may 2012 or something :whistling:

 

 

 

Oh and another random thing, Celine was mentioned in the 10th episode of The Vampire Diaries :wub:

I really hate the dress. Is it HC?

I can really see my grandma wearing it haha (not if it's HC though :shifty: )

yeah I looooooved that haircut too!! :wub2: that and when RC was babtised where much better then the toupaid (?!) hair she had with the ANDHC promo! (although around the time GTSW was a single her hair was gorgeous again :wub2: LOL)

 

 

but yeah that pregnanciedress was just aweful! Maybe it was her mothers, then it would be kinda cute! :lmao: but I doubt it! :P
