I agree I would never think about Rene in a sexual way, he's cute but to me he's not like "hot" in "that way". I would never say I'm in love with him. He's the exact same age as my dad actually, I don't see myself having a crush on someone who is old enough to be my dad Don't get me wrong, Rene is cute but not in a crush type of way for me. I think he and Celine look adorable together and they were meant for each other.

There was a diskussion about this last year I think? Anyway, I don't think Celine will keep singing (well, publicly/record anymore) when he does... They've been a team for so long, they're 'one' somehow, so I don't think Celine will have the will and drive when he's no longer there...

Im not sure what she would do... he is her manager after all... She couldn't do it by herself--look at him, he's always on the phone in pictures. She would have to hire someone new!

I think I have a little crush on him. Not that I would try anything but I adore the fact how he takes care of his wife. He has beautiful eyes and when I met him, he was so nice and shook my hand and yes very nice. I wouldn't mind meeting a man like him. But I have to admit that he's a bit too old hehe, but a younger version of him would be great

René still has some years left. I mean he could turn 90 or more and then Céline is over 60 so she would be taking it easy anyways. Can't see her doing a world tour over 60 (but that would be so cool)

Well I remember reading in My Story My Dream that when he had his heart attack or was it when he was sick with cancer that he told her no matter what happened he wanted her keep singing because she wanted to cancel the concert in Paris, Au Coeur Du Stade and basically he refused to let her cancel it. He told her that if something did happen to him he wanted her to go on singing and have a career and he told her when RC was born he was glad she had someone to take care of her when he was gone. So I think depending on her age and health if she's able Celine will keep making music, maybe not touring but still doing CD's when Rene is gone.

 

angelil78 made a good point, Rene has quiet a long time of living ahead of him. I think as long as he stays in good health he could live to be 90 and beyond.

I think Rene was talking more about RC looking after her - not her career. Patrick would be a good choice, but i personally think Celine will have retired before Rene goes. If not, she'll fulfill any outstanding contracts and then retire. Thats what i've always thought. Probably would think differently if Celine was early on in her career, but not when she's achieved so much. I dread the day anything happens to Celine's mum, Rene, she retires, and maybe even in my lifetime, something happens to her. God forbid anything like that happens for decades yet. I'm really depressed now - can we forget this subject now!!????

Maybe, IDK sometimes I can't fall back asleep after I'm up and moving around. I'm not sure about Celine, I'm the sameway as her though. I hate mornings with a passion. I prefer to sleep through them and get up around noon lol. I don't wanna be talk to, I don't wanna to talk to anyone, I just wanna be left alone for a couple hours so I can wake up fully.

its so weird to think that he goes to school. it makes their lives and schedule so much similar to our own! I always think of them being on vacation at times like these, but it isn't... they're still living their lives

They have to follow a different routine. Maybe RC wants a sleepover or playdate, go to the movies with his friends or what ever kids do.

Also all the homework. Now it's serious for Céline, making sure they have a normal family life
