really? I love it just kidding!!! really I'm only kidding.

 

I thought this convo was interresting. Not because of Renés sperm but how it all works, like after cancer and IVF. I thought we were talking about a lot more than him personally.

I personally have an interrest in IVF as I've actually got a few friends going through this. It's a lot more common that we know about. And even have two co-workers going through IVF. One after cancer treatment of her hubby.

It is but its a complicated thing to talk about if you don't know for sure what you are talking about, I just brought up that Rene might have been left sterile after the treatments because it had been brought into question. Someone though he wouldn't be able to produce any sperm ever after the treatments so that was why they froze the sperm and I knew that wasn't true so I looked it up in For Keeps and found out I was right, they didn't do it (freeze the sperm) for fear he wouldn't be able to produce sperm at all after the treatments it was because might be temporarily sterile is why the froze the sperm.

so I bought a new copy of LTAL and I was just listening to the song Why Oh Why and before I noticed not only did she leave out a word in it she skips like an entire verse or chorus or whatever. In the booklet the lyrics go 'why when I looked in your eyes I felt my heart start to cry my o my when I saw you with that other girl' Celine totally skips that part she goes from 'why when I looked in your eyes' to 'I felt the trust start to die' which is the next part in the lyrics. Listening to the whole song I realize she skips a lot of lyrics and the song doesn't follow the lyrics in the book. Why did she do that? she doesn't actually sing the whole line of 'why when I looked in your eyes I felt my heart start to cry my o my when I saw you with that other girl' til two minutes and like forty some seconds into the song. Oh well, I think we came to the conclusion that she has skipped so many lines from so many songs. I think the demo version of J'attendais is the latest example.

I don't know why they don't change the lyrics for the booklet, though. Maybe its a copyright issue (but I don't think that's the case).

I think the most important reason is that during a recording leaving words out, or just adding them, makes the lyrics more consistent with the music

Don't know I don't exactly search for the dicussions on lyrics and I didn't have time to go through the tons and tons and tons of page on this topic or the hundreds in the english section just to look for one topic on lyrics or this album. I haven't really paid attention to other songs or lyrics in the booklet to see if she did skip stuff in them or leave out words or whatever, but that one caught my attention because I was reading the lyircs in the booklet while I was listening to the song.

When I've seen Céline work on the music in the studio, she usually has a pen in her hand and is writing something on the lyrics paper so I think she changes it all the time. I guess they don't change the lyrics in the cd "book"

 

I'm wondering if she will build the Las Vegas show on her new summer album or do a mini/big tour, what do you think?

I had one of those "Where did that come from" moment

 

I was working on the lyrics of a song when I began to daydream. I could see Celine standing on the edge of a cliff (well, not on the edge, but close) with her arms stretched out and the wind blowing through her hair. I could hear her voice so clearly as she was singing the words "Remember the promise... that a new day will begin" (A line from my song). I could see a view of her from every angle as the "camera" circled her standing on the cliff (she wasn't preparing to jump ). It was like a video. It was an awesome thought (maybe it wasn't so random either).

I don't think she will tour. I think she will go straight to vegas and have her fans come to her again, only when RC is on break. I would love if she toured though! But I don't foresee a TC scale tour for awhile, at least until RC is more independent. which could be awhile lol.

I hope so, I'd love to see some photos! I for one would love to see Celine in shoes like Uggs, I don't think I've seen her in many if any photo's of her in foot wear that isn't a pair of heels, unless its at like the beach or something.
