Who styled her for the 2017 tour? That was before Pepe and she looked flawless (apart from the trash bag and the lady gaga white space outfit). I would love to know who her stylist for the tour was. Was it Law?

I wonder sometimes if some fans realize that Celine is an actual human being and not a thing that exists simply for their entertainment. She also happens to have taste of her own and 2 stylist but yeah let's blame Pepe for everything.

She has her own way of doing things, be it singing, dressing, talking, etc, whether you like it or not.

 

 

I don't get tired of watching videos where you can hear the crowd singing so loudly with her. I can feel the energy, excitement, and happiness through the computer. They loved every minute.

Totally agree. The atmosphere at BST was incredible. I don’t quite get the comments I’ve seen from people being annoyed at others singing along. At every concert I’ve ever been to people sing along, it’s part of the “concert going experience.”

 

It’s not the theatre where you are expected to sit in silence and applaud politely at the end. I do of course understand people have paid a lot of money “to hear Celine sing” but it’s not as if you can’t hear her the entire show because people are singing along.

I remember attending to TC World Tour and, for example, the hits medley, IDAN and MHWGO, sounded exactly the same as in the A new day DVD xD... of course for the TCWT DVD they changed all those versions, and sounded really bad... for example de "I don't have a voice" all by myself performance sounded even better than the official performance on DVD

 

I know, right? They should be consistent in sound quality as well. Taking Chances DVD shots were great but because of the dubbing. It’s my least watched concert video. It’s awful.

I watched or read the interview the other day when she said she is enjoying life and it's the first time in her life people have asked her what she wants to do etc.. which makes me sad and realises probably how much she had not much choice when Rene was around. Makes me happy that she is finally breaking out and doing what makes her happy.

I feel the same. Yes, I sometimes get bored of her well-known songs, but when I hear them live on a concert, I'm just happy, I can be there. I can't understand why some people think, just because she's world famous, she can't have her own decisions. I'm sad when I see people criticizing every steps she makes. Come on, she is a human being, she can try things, she can enjoy her own life. I'm happy when I see she's happy too.

 

About the René thing. I remember she said in an interview, she had to care just about singing and she had nothing to do with business because René organized everything. That was normal for her. But I was wondering about the same thing as you, that now she realises how much she had no voice in things. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame René, just seeing, that now as she is the BOSS, she makes a lot of stuff she didn't before. And I think there's nothing wrong with it.

Don't tell me you liked that very first outfit in Copenhagen (which was ridiculous) or the MHWGO dress (which made her look like an upside down wine glass)!

That MHWGO dress was arguably the only one which could compare to the Blue Dress. It looked better when she had her long hair mind you. But when it lit up and the light shone on it... it was gorgeous

I love every single outfit during BTS! They all stand out and in a positve way. And the colours are so vibrant. And they go well with the bun.

 

Sure Pepe's choises aren't always brilliant. But the looks on this concert gets full score from me!

I would much rather have these outfits than her 2017 tour outfits (except the grey and black suit opening outfit). I cannot forget that trash bag she wore in 2017 and how it was recycled on the 2018 tour. The only complaint I have about this concert's outfits is the colours. I really don't think they chose the right colour for any of the designs.

I'm probably in the minority here but I didn't love the green dress in BST. I love however the thought of the outfits being in the lgbt flag colours. The yellow dress was one of the most stunning pieces she has worn in her career for me.

 

Also, question: I see people here blaming Pepe etc. but isn't Sydney the main stylist? I may be wrong but I thought Pepe was kinda the assistant/co- stylist?

Yes, that would have been perfect. By far my favourite outfit from the 2017 tour. I also think the outfits from the Sans attendre 2013 tour would have worked very well.
