Nice. But reminds too much of Melody Gardot to be recognized IMO. Although Zara Larsson has a career magically despite sounding like a Rihanna copy.

 

So were any of you there on Jul 6th?

If so, did you see Faouzia open for Babs?

You should have! Because every few days she posts something that makes me go :wow:

Seriously, if she didn't have, you know, an engineering degree to finish I'd be all over Team Celine to book her as opening act.

OK, sorry, I know I've posted about her way too much in the past. But seriously, what talent (And trilingual! And plays several instruments! And writes great songs!)

 

Back to regularly scheduled Celine programming.

Really? I don't hear Melody Gardot - maybe a little in that Blue cover, not that you mention it, but certainly not in, say,

(the Sia / Guetta track she did on Guetta's last album). Maybe because I associate Melody with jazz and never thought of Faouzia as such (though clearly there's some influence).

I’m still in a daze because working with her those two days in the summer was such a joy. If anything, she’s a true performer in every sense of the word. Pure grace and class all bundled in visually beautiful designer dresses and packed with a power voice. You gotta love Celine!"

Some guy on twitter posted a photo of him watching a professional video of the show at home tonight.

 

I’m hoping this means it may be getting released soon to Sky Arts or something!!! :)

But look at how it’s tagged with what the event name and the time across the bottom as if it’s being edited... the guy has a verified twitter account and it’s nearly a year since the show happened and this years show is cancelled so, seems interesting to me lol.

 

Are they thinking of airing last years now to make up for this year?!? Hmmm, wait and see unless he spills more info :)

I want to know what he does that will give us an idea of how he obtained the footage. If I could talk to him I'd be like look give us the full BST show and tell Celine I forgive her for the rest but please give us something!! I need new footage!

 

I got an idea see if he tells us if it's her full set. I asked him now let's see what happens

Sony are saying nothing about a possible release so I’ve emailed BST & her management to try and find out if this may happen or not.

yes i think there's few but not many

i have Carole King's one!! which was in 2016 and released in 2017 CD / DVD also CD / blu-ray in digipack

People here still requesting the final Vegas show on dvd. But I rather see this show being released.

 

The vibe that evening. :wub:

A standing show gives such a different mood.

 

To be honest I think it’s more likely to air on tv than as a dvd based on previous BST’s but you never know I suppose

they should have broadcast this show as special on TV or Netflix, I think it is unlikely to release it on DVD, no one else does that.

This show was historic, the energy of that place and the audience were incredible.

This photo only proves that we have a professional recording.

I think Fomo was definitely the highlight for the diehards that night and it was funny to see who the diehards actually we’re in the crowd as they looked around to see who else was singing to it lol.

Yes, and it was anyway almost identical to the Vegas show, just no string medley (but I’d trade that for TT and TR any day). I do prefer her a Vegas outfits and CHFIL though. :wub:
