Still moving up on itunes US... #58. And this time there is some actual AC airplay that will be added and on top of that we are still halfway decent on spotify (not great still but not terrible...) Let's hope this is a grower guys. So much potential now that the film is out. This weekend might help a lot. Don't want to get our hopes up because it's going to take a lot to reach any real big positions but it's the best chance we have had in a while. Even if it doesn't position any higher at all, I am still going to be tremendously happy with what she has received in this day and age in her music.

Exactly. And you know, it's not going to move as fast as that first days, but just the fact that it moved at all, let alone slowly passing the top 60 after 2 solid weeks now that the movie is finally out... if some momentum can happen... there is so much potential... And honestly, it's only just beginning in the AC charts.. and that will help some. This will be fun to watch It already has been.

I saw the movie tonight and I loved the way the song was used!

If it was sung by Adele, Sia it would be everywhere.

 

But no,it's Celine Dion, she is 50, nevermind...

 

The music industry is super manipulative- I think if the most popular radio stations played Ashes a few times a day for a week straight - it would be the next "Hello". If they gave it that push, the song and the nostalgia of Celine and add to that her devoted fan base - she would have a huge hit song on her hands chart-wise. It's simply a really great song with an awesome video. That just isn't the right formula anymore if u want to be a chart topper these days! I have to no longer get frustrated over radio play and get super stoked over YouTube play. Maybe someday billboard and radio will be obsolete anyway!

Saw the movie last night. Loved it but I knew I would cos I love all superhero movies and loved the first one for it’s insane ‘not taking itself too easily’ humour. Loved how the song was presented, what it represents in the storyline and the recurring theme of how the instrumental was played a few times throughout.

So... on Thursday I've watched Truth or Dare with a friend at the cinema and afterwards we just enterd the iSense hall where they were playing Deadpool 2. We have been waiting for Ashes and then left

 

Not sure if this marvel stuff is the kind of movie I like but...

It was a unique moment to share our Céline passion with all these Deadpool and movie freaks.

i think it is because this song has already been recorded and filmed before her treatment. Who knows how her current condition is? We have not heard a thing if the surgery went well. And i do guess it went okay and now she is taking rest and maybe preparing for her Asia tour. Of course she would promote the song more if she could - or wanted.
