There was so much more that they could have done with this song, especially because they also had the film studio on their side promoting and supporting it. such a shame team Celine remained in the background and missed so many opportunities. She should have sang the song on award shows etc. and do some massive promo, even aiming for nominations. I think Ashes is not any worse than Shallow. But I suppose that in May Celine was still recovering from her ear surgery and might not have been able to do promo, especially as the Vegas concerts had been cancelled before.
