No, I don’t expect 100+ songs but I don’t expect the setlist to get chopped the further into the tour she goes either, as what happened in the 2017 tour, well for the English dates anyway, which irks me even more knowing she gives longer shows in French without really changing or shortening those shows throughout the run. We’re all paying the same or similar crazy ticket prices. I also think that if she decides a song isn’t working or is struggling with it ie LMBTL, swap it out for something else, experimenting is fine but don’t drop it altogether and add more talking to fill the void.

 

I believe that someone of her standing should be able to give at least a 2 hr 30 min show and I don’t find that unreasonable, after all she spends a good 20 to 30 mins per show talking and changing costumes these days!

 

I was extremely disappointed that she couldn’t give us a full 2 hrs set at BST as per her allocated time slot.

 

I love the bones of her, I really do but these things really do irritate me, maybe it’s because I’ve paid out so much money to make the journeys to see her over the last couple of years and I know I will continue to do so, therefore just don’t think I’m being unreasonable.

 

I remember in 2017 she had to cut the shows length (I remember reading Copenhagen was close to 2 hours and 45 mins and finished at nearly midnight) because people were complaining it was finishing too late and transport was bad. She starts at 9pm most of the time, so its difficult to make it as long as many would want it, whilst still keeping in mind timing etc. Its also the case that if they run over a certain time, theyre charged for using the venue after the time they rented it for. 2 hours and 30 minutes would be a set of around 25 songs, now, thats alot more than what many give, granted shes done it and she could do it, but thats just asking for more lipping. And the french shows is simple, her french shows not only are the songs less vocally demanding, but its also the case she just has way more french hits than english ones. She could swap out songs that are too hard or aren’t working, but that would require rehearsing more songs half way through a tour, as well as creating an entire arrangement, its not that easy to do. I agree with what youre saying, i do, but its not practical in celine land

Again quality before quantaty. Though the setlist 2017 had great quality! They could have cut it some - Black or White, TC and LMBTL (even though they're her current music they still don't really work), TR (though WONDERFUL now, it didn't really work back then), HDAMLF and BATB (I do get they where somewhat mandantory at the time coz of the film but they are NOT mandantory anymore).

They couldve held the great Copenhagen set, but cut LMBTL, BOW, and Im Your Angel. Kept it at a more managable 25 songs without cutting all the good parts out

What a weird video. Why do they go "gay best friend" as if it's a lie? Not into to profiling but come one he's a dancer, goes with her to fashion shows and likes to help her with her outfits and looks.... I mean… well… well!

 

And why do they keep blaming him for her weight?! As if he sticks his fingers down her troath each time she eats something.

 

And can the rages about her "daring" fashion be done already? What exactly is so provacative about her fashion??? Has nobody seen any other woman in show business always exploiting their bodys? She doens't do that!

Because Celine and Law's relationship was always just stylist + client. Celine and Pepe are more than stylist + client, they are also bff's and dance partners, and he contributes to other parts of her business at times (strictly graphics & visuals imo).

 

Law has that dynamic with Zendaya. This is from a TeenVogue interview this year...

Law is Zendaya's Pepe, if you were to be on a forum dedicated to her I would not be surprised to find a "Zendaya and Law" thread.

Well you never know, the novelty may wear off and the effort of keeping all this up may be too much. There may well be a return to some form of normality at some point, or at least a good balance between how things were and this.

 

I think that she is still very much on the journey between how her life was and where it will go. There will be some balance eventually. To her I suppose the fashion thing is a way of expressing herself. What it expresses to me is complete confusion and someone who needs to keep changing their image.

 

Confusion and inconsistency seems to be the order of the day in all her career at the moment.

Indeed! Wish we saw a Celine like that again for her phototoshoots, looking simple and casual (and yet beautiful)! But I’m so afraid we’re going to be far from that in her next album photoshoot, and that the extravaganza of all her fashion shows is going to take over

Just a random observation, but Céline still hasn't followed Pepe on social media (instagram). She does follow Sydney, Law and Annie (the latter no longer follows Céline, so I'm suspecting there was a little drama there, though it may have been one-sided )

There was that thing last year, some Canadian Fashion awards where Celine was getting an award but couldn't attend and had asked Annie to receive it in her placell and there was some interview (journal de Montreal I think?) Of Annie where she said nice words. I really don't see them having any feud or if there was,they have put it behind them idk

I really hope that we see some kind of “spectacular” show on this tour. The same boring orchestra is way overdue to be retired. They need good effects along with a great setlist.
