About the gorilla video, she's just being silly around friends. Even if she was drunk, what's so wrong about it? As mentioned, she does enjoy a drink now and then, it doesn't mean she's an alcoholic. Celine is not an innocent little kid or saint some like to pretend she is. I don't believe Pepe was a "bad influence" at all, quite the contrary, apart from their great work they had lots of good times together - as adult friends do.

 

I've not seen that gorilla video before, that's somewhere between cringey and hilarious lol drunk auntie in the house haha... I would not be surprised if she were indeed party mode drunk/tipsy. It's just unfortunate someone thought posting it online was a nice move.

 

I agree with what you say, Céline is neither a kid nor of pure innocence. I wouldn't be surprised if she's (even with René) dabbled with other drugs in the past or engaged in other vices. It's not because I think bad of her character, but because I wouldn't put it past ANYONE with a similar lifestyle (celebrity, rich, everything accessible, hangers on/enablers galore) as a cope, escape or indulgent recreation. Never believe their public facade 100%, be it publicized romance, virtue or whatever biographical details. If they're public figures, someone's curating that, especially for elite levels.

 

As the saying goes, people enter your life for a reason, season, or lifetime. Pepe apparently falls under employed 'season'. The nosy in me is actually more curious why she parted ways with Annie the way they did lol

She stumbled upon Law through watching Zendaya, she loved his work, and her management (i.e. Aldo) thought it was good as part of the new image they were building for her. I don’t think there was any hostility or categorical parting with Annie, and she doesn’t seem to have any negative feelings towards Céline.

Yes, some were unhappy (most notably Mégo), but Annie isn’t one of them.

Went to NY a few days ago and thought I'd see Moulin Rouge on Broadway for funsies.

To my shock and horror, Pepe ended up being one of the supporting (but featured) castmembers, Santiago (a sexy gyrating Spaniard with his own musical solo). This is his Broadway debut but he's been in lead roles all over including in the West End. His Moulin Rouge bio still mentions his work for Celine, meanwhile she's ofc scrubbed elsewhere on his socials

 

Prolific/lucky Broadway stars have been known to cross over into film/TV, but I'd hope he doesn't because sth about how their friendship ended abruptly gives me the ick
