People were saying that he got sick IIRC, and then I guess they just never reunited? Perhaps he was only wanted for a re-brand, and not for life.

 

But to see him replaced with Pepe, who is creative but doesn't have the same credentials, might be taken as an insult.

Yup, they were definitely together til her last show in Newark. When Celine pulled into the venue, she rolled the window down on Pepe's side to wave and he just sort of sank into the back of his seat knowing very well we had no interest in seeing him

Yeah, sounds like they had a falling out of sorts. Why would his involvement be up for debate when he says he's still part of her creative team and one of her stylists. Very strange.

 

How trustworthy is this site? Maybe he made a joke or something and they misunderstood him.

I was watching the Star Academie daily show and when Gregory introduced Céline's songs one of them asked if she was going to be there and he said no. So all we'll get if we get anything will probably be a short thank you for the album tribute and good luck to all. That said I am not expecting anything.

If they are in different countries, it's perfectly normal for them do not talk as much, and that does not mean they aren't friends. And that is if we assume that was really a fall out, the article doesn't exactly said that. He maybe just trying to avoid questions about Celine when promoting his own stuff, specially since Celine herself isn't talking much about what she's been doing.

Everybody love Pepe at Star Académie! He is very funny and cute. I did not like Pepe before and I can tell you that I change my mind. I understand now why Celine is friend with him.
