and they could sell it at her merchandising concerts

 

about "Hymn"/"L'hymne" let it stays where it belongs ;)

 

or better, a little more extra tracks could make the most wanted CSV2 :-D

 

she needs to close this chapter,

and make a decent album with no recycling songs, :)

 

With all due respect... but are you going to add each and every song she has recorded/performed new since the last summer tour until the next one begins, to demand their inclusion in it? :laugh: :wtf:

 

I feel so amused about all those of you making lists of all the separate songs she's been recording/performing these months, and now you wish them to be performed in medleys or in its entirety for the tour, as if she had to catch up with all the songs she has performed in every awards, tributes, soundtracks and put them all together for the tour :mellow: So if you don't want her under no circumstances to recycle these songs for her next English album, why should she recycle them and bring them to the tour??? :laugh: :giggle: And Avec le temps (wtf???)??? Seriously??? :wtf:

 

Please let the tour be what it has to be. Let all Recoverings, Show Must Go Ons and even this new Disney song, rest and stay where they are...

 

Sorry, but never understood this obsession with having each and every song she performs anywhere, be it on a soundtrack or a specific tribute in some awards, to be automatically included and performed as a regular in her next show/concert/tour, as if it was obliged. No, thank you. It doesn't work like that. Most of these songs you mention were performed or recorded for some specific occasion, event or project. They all had their moment, were performed for an specific purpose and they all belong to the past now. Their life started and ended in that specific performance (again, do you want her to bring "Avec le temps" to the tour now, seriously??? :wacko: )

 

That, unless you wish to convert all these songs into At Seventeen Part II, and erase all the magic that the first performance of this song had in the Grammys, to a snoozefest with a singer performing it like a robot without any more feeling in it. Because that's what happens when you use (and abuse) one unique brilliant performance of a song and wear away all the shine that it once had because it was one special performance :)

 

Besides, we don't want any more snoozefests for her live concerts, do we? (But that's another story... ;) )

Unfortunately not, I do believe she will sing them. Or better said, I do believe she will think she has to sing them (baaang! Big mistake! :ermm: ).

 

But it's not my fault she likes to squeeze the magic out from these songs by performing them to death, while she could perform so many other songs she has in her repertoire that are WAY better than these (and we know this by heart) ;)

 

But seriously, is there anyone hoping she will perform TSMGO again for this tour? Again, after the 2008 tour?? After the hundreds of performances in Vegas? After the Billboards? Does it even make sense??? :innocent:

 

Recovering? Didn't that ship sail already? :wtf:

All I'm hoping is that she does something fresh like she did in the past summer tour (baaang! I know! Hoping and expecting with her is another mistake :rolleyes: )

 

Sorry for the off-topic... But among all these songs mentioned, the only one I would see justified to be included in the next tour is this new Disney song, for its own merits (it will be her most recent recording and belongs to a big project-Disney movie). The rest is just meh or a repetitive déjà vu from 2008.

All those people who will attend her concerts are casual people.

 

"Recovering" was released on Itunes without any publicity. I bet 70% of the 36.000 people who will attend her show in the Netherlands for instance don't know that song.

 

Actually, I don't think she will sing "recovering" because it's not an "arena/stadium song" while it perfectly fits an intimate venue like the CP.

 

And to me, in this case, it would be very challenging : she would have to keep thousands of people's attention with a piano ballad nobody knows. And on top of that, it will bring light on her own songs ( aren't you one of those who constantly complain about the fact she doesn't promote her own material? ).

 

For all these reasons, I don't think Recovering will be part of the show.

Céline performs so many times that even if she changed setlist and sang all her songs , all of them would be worn out.

it's just an EP, like a compilation, i don't her to sing "avec le temps" again,

 

but i want those songs on a CD, not digital, something official like a bootleg or something

 

she and her team spend the creative time doing bags and clothes and bottles :-D instance of music :giggle:

I love the song. Classic Celine. Why is it not charting in the top 200 iTunes USA? Slowing rising in Canada....almost top 100, number 103 now I think

What I like is that now even on the Disney vevo channel they write Céline with an accent in a French way :-)

 

I guess it might be the new marketing strategy of Aldo to really distinct Céline from other English speaking singers, recognizing she is from French speaking country.

 

I love that they are writing her name Céline since that is the correct spelling. I understand why they didn't do it in the beginning but now everyone should write it Céline I think.

I do understand that people that don't have the é in their alphabet do not use it because to add the ´ for the e can probably be tiring in the long run. I know that if it wasn't in my alphabet, I would use it.

But for all marketing today they are required to write her name Céline.

What's almost sure is that in a couple of days this will become the most-watched song off the soundtrack on YouTube after Ariana's. So that's a good sign!

I didn't really love the song at first. The way Céline sang certain words just annoyed me a bit. But after repeated listening, I actually really like it!

Now that a couple of you mentioned it, one of the things that I dislike about this song is the way Celine pronuonced certain words. As some of you said, she's become lazy about this. I don't know if it's her fault or the producer's. Anyway, it could have been much better. I'm not a native English speaker but mispronunciation drives me crazy.
