I bought this song yesterday on iTunes and am listening to it a lot ! I really like it !

And yes, she should do a performance of this song !

God I hope not.

If she IS there, she should perform in French. She's nominated for a French album. Show's in Ottawa so most of the audience is sufficiently bilingual. It would be very disappointing if she were to perform in English.

They have convictions afterall.... turns out even if Malaysia allowed the censored version of BATB to be shown... Disney decided to still pullout the movie if they won't show the film in its entirety.

Good to hear there is already Oscar buzz...that means she will probably do the award show circuit next year.

 

I wonder if they will release it as a single? It will do really well on the AC charts if they do. Now as for it's order in the film credits I hope it will be first but that's probably unlikely since Ariana and John's puke version already has like 20 million views on youtube.

After listening to the song for many many times on YouTube. Céline's vocal is too forward than the instrumentals again. Why they always wanted céline's vocal to be more forward? Is this a trend for céline only? That's why it sounds like céline is singing it loud. Stop with the raw sound. She can do that in live but in recording it should blend with the music. I blast this to my speakers but i lowered it down because the instrumentals are quieter than céline's vocal. I love the song and that is the only negative comment about this song. But in the movie, i think they fix this (from leaked song in china premier). That's why i said JJG should have produce this song. (See EUS)

 

That never bothers me when it's Céline. For the song, Where does my heart beat now, her voice is very 'backward' and I don't like that. I prefer when it's really forward even if it's not the trend. Céline is that kind of singer, the kind to have her voice very forward.

You can not compare a "video clip" to "audio only clip", it does not make any sense. Let's hope Disney acts like a good cook and provides the best dishes at the end of the feast. And "the best dish" will be smashing to the ground video clip with Céline :)

I have to say, it's highly amusing reading comments from teens on social media along the lines of "I never knew Celine Dion was the female voice in the original Beauty and the Beast" or "I never knew Celine Dion spoke French". :giggle:

For me...

 

Before, i only hear it on Live performance (very forward vocals because it's live i understand that) but when it comes to recording it should really blend with the music.. like BYLM, Unfinished Songs, Encore Un Soir, her 90's recording and early 00's. Sometimes, very forward vocals is not great. Sometimes it's not pleasant to the ears. Her voice is powerful/loud. Now, she sings nasal -- very forward vocal/raw is not great. It's a recording it should be polished well. Let that be on live like always -- even if it sounds dry like mic feed.
