it was apparently too expensive, but the real reason is that it was produced first by Julie snyder , she sold her cie because her husband was going into politics, they divorced and then he cut every business he had with her , even the shows from the cie she sold. He owned the tv station and he tried to show her who was the boss. And i'm sure it is reason Julie did not do the interview, because they were into the worst of the battle at that time.

Radio-Canada is the archi ennemy of TVA(owned by her ex husband and the place she began her career, I would not be surprised to see Julie in a vey short time having a talk show aT Radio Canada since their big star is having some difficulty with her image at the moment.

If Rene was alive, we would have had a DVD for the last tour because every live show Celine has done that's a tour, there has been a DVD!! I'm frustrated with that comment that guy made about who buys DVD's!! Um ME!!! I go to my local record store all the time and buy Celine CD's and DVD's!! Come on is her new team just lazy or do they not care about us!! It's definitely not Celine's fault at all!! I even told the guy in Vegas who recorded the A New Day DVD to do a DVD/CD for this tour and I'm frustrated they haven't. I would love to have a CD for this tour at least! I hope they do something like the Une Seule Fois DVD!!

Absolutely nothing wrong with hoping and dreaming, i also hope we will get a DVD sometime. I will never ever be able to go and see Celine at any of her concerts, i am too far away, so i am dying to get some sort of DVD of her .A lot of people will say it won't happen, and it most probably won't, but still, let's hope, dream and pray that someone might read on here how much we are longing for a DVD. Maybe as a Beautiful Christmas present

Exactly. I know some people think I am bonkers trust me even I sometimes stop and say like am I nuts for wanting this so much? But I know there are many other fans who want it too so that's why I'm still pushing for this thing. Please somebody who is better at getting things like this done can we maybe start a thread or something where we can discuss ways to get our ideas to Celine's people of either releasing a dvd physically or even just digitally or even just by streaming. If someone could help us out and take leadership in this idea we can do it. I WANT to do this but I am the wrong person to start a thread and collect ideas and such. I have such a hectic life unfortunately due to my health issues that I cannot. I tried really hard during my meet and greet but that wasn't successful. Perhaps because I am the quiet and shyer type which is why we need someone strong. Please don't just brush this aside. I am talking to everyone like me who wants one we must do something because as I said last year we did absolutely nothing and when we tried it was far too late.

The problem with using Rene as an example by saying we'd get a DVD if he were around is that Celine's future eould have been very different. If Rene had lived, the French tours may have not happened, and if so, the setlists would have been much different. "Recovering" would not have been recorded. The Asian tour may have happened if he hadn't gotten sick again. The Vegas show could have stayed the same. There are lots of "coulda" moments. It's hard to say if we would have gotten a DVD.

I think we mean more in the sense that almost all her other tours have been recorded in some form and alot of it I think could have easily been Rene's doing. It was only after Rene got sick and stepped down as her manager we stopped getting such things. I can even use tv specials as an example(AND Opening, Taking Chances CBS special etc we never get anything like that anymore). Even if the French tours hadn't happened and say the Asian tour had happened I'm still certain Rene would have given us a dvd of that. He just seemed the type who listened to the fans from all the stories I've heard about him. I never got that with Aldo or any of her current team members. Same goes for the Vegas show she's had the same residency show for nearly 7 years now(not talking about changes wise just the show itself in general) that's a huge thing. There is no way Rene wouldn't have had that thing filmed in some aspect. He loved the show he loved how special and different it was from her other shows because of the orchestra. I have no idea if what I am saying makes any sense in the way I'm putting it but in my head I know what I'm trying to say. Sorry if I'm not able to get that across. My brain isn't functioning well right now.

You again..yes and then people see the video on the channel where it has been posted. It"s a link to the video. Different thing is downloading that video and put it on my own video because you know you will get views.

Could it be that there is another factor why Celine is wearing these expensive outfits? : not always because she likes the looks but because fashiondesigners pay her to wear their clothes because she gets enough attention from the press. So everytime they ask Law to let her wear this or that it gives them promotion, Law gets money for choosing their outfit and Celine gets money for being the model and promoting their brand!

- it's all about money and maybe she also finds the outfits hideous but who cares if it pays;) ?

Once I made a compilation video myself with videos from another channel but after one day I removed it bc I felt guilty.

I also have one video with videos from a channel that has been deleted but I clearly stated that I'd remove it if the original account holder wants it

Of course I want to promote my favourite artists but not to the expensive of other youtubers

I am glad that Denis Savage is going to pass down this DVD information to Celine's team, but I think something further needs to be done in order for Celine and her team to know how badly her fans really want this to happen. Maybe if we all write a letter about this to Feeling Productions or something, they will take this issue more seriously?

 

They need to hear it from more then just 1 or 2 people or they aren't going to do anything about it. I know this is a lot to ask, but for anyone meeting Celine in any future upcoming meet and greets, can you please be so kind to let her know how badly her fans want a DVD? Last Friday I was at Céline Dion's concert in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Despite rumours going on I really hope this concert tour will be released in some way, if it's just online or only audio doesn't matter. It's been nine years ago since a concert recording was released - of an English tour - but her voice is still amazing and I think a lot of fans would be pleased to have it professionally recorded (not to mention the wonderful enhancement by the orchestra, lightshow and screen effects). The setlist also included rarely performed songs and the tribute to her late husband René was beautiful and moving. There are also a lot of fans in maybe at least three quarters of the world - Africa, Asia, Australia and South America - who are unable to see her live and for them it would be really nice to have a recent recording, they also deserve to enjoy Céline without having enough money to see her live. I'm really hoping you take this all into consideration, I can guarantee that I write this on behalf of quite some fans ;-)

I wonder that when you post something on their twitter account, if they actually read it. If they would make a concert dvd i hope from one of the English concerts, or from both English and French concerts. If it is French again, I am okay with it, but we already had one in 2013, please give us a decent English concert. And please do not completely shut down audience noise, clapping, yelling etc and don't polish it like it was a studio recording. We want a decent concert recording. Hopefully bluray too!

My arguments are mostly with people who are bítching and complaining about 98% of everything that Celine does, instead of trying to find some semblance of a silver lining. And I would say my ratio is about 60/40. And actually, getting stuffed is one of my favorite things to do! Thanks for the encouragement!!!

Sorry but I disagree a bit lol. Yeah people can care about it, I certainly do. I have never gone to a show on my own, would never get on a plane etc on my own, so yes I miss out on a lot sometimes. It's not about being at a concert on my own, it's the travelling and not having someone to chat to on the train etc or before the show starts. If you're shy/ lack confidence you find it hard to speak to people you don't know. I have a lot of admiration for you guys who do go to things on your own 😀

I know it's because I don't say much, but it would have been nice just to be there, they all know how I am. Know how that feels though. A workmate got married Saturday- she lives around the corner from me and have known her most of my life. A few work colleagues went to the wedding but most were invited to the evening do. I wasn't. But actually that wasn't what upset me, it was constantly being asked by people if I was going.
