I just followed the YouTube instructions, after you flag the video; you should try to contact him first, then report the issue.

He apologized a couple of days ago, removed it, but today I received a notification that he re-uploaded the video. Kindergarden move.

I will check if any of my lawyer friends specializes in online content and get back to you with details.

I liked her after Think Twice, but became a fan of Celine as a person, above her music.

 

Just a thought. I have been reading a few of the comments above, and I would like to share some of my thoughts. I am a huge Celine fan, otherwise I wouldn`t be posting on this forum. She is by far my favorite singer. My playlists are made up of 90 percent Celine repetoire.( in French and English) I do have to say though, that I am a much bigger fan of the woman than of the artist. Ever since I can remember Celine has done her own thing and has never been ashamed of her choices. She never cared about critics, media and what other people would think. If you consider and think about her life you can see that she always had the courage to do what she believed in. She has always been proud of her family, not exactly a rich and prominent family. She fell in love and married a man that was the opposite of the young prince charming stereotype. People criticized her marriage, and she, as an answer, was married and happy for 21 years. Now in this new phase of her life, she is once again courageous. She is first of all taking care of her kids, going ahead with her career and having fun wearing the clothes she wants. What I mean by all this is , people follow Celine`s lead, if you want to go to a concert alone, do it, if you want to wear different clothes, do it. Believe in yourself and follow your dreams. I am sure Celine would!

I am sorry you guys are upset but from a fans perspective, I enjoy the channel. It's easy to navigate from one show to another because everything is consolidated. He may steal some clips here and there but he spends a lot of time and effort and if the channel goes bye bye, that is a lot of rainy day material gone lol...i would hate to miss out on all those clips, especially before I've made it home to make some mp3s for a live tour cd. Lol I'm too dorky, but not like were getting a real one so I always make my own

 

 

I'm not saying that to make light of it at all. You have very valid concerns! Reuploading after you told him not too is wrong. I guess I just try to focus on the positive intent of sharing Celine more easily for others.

 

My full length video bootleg was "stolen" as well, but oddly I didn't mind because it's all about sharing Celine really. At least to me.

 

But I understand if you tell someone to remove it, it is disrespectful for them not too. Or to reupload slyly days after thinking maybe you would forget!!

 

Maybe you'll be willing to send me mp3 of the reason from your June 21st recording because currently I like that performance the most and when I make my live cd I'm very particular about finding audios that start before the song does, and many start at same time or after and that one was perfect! My own recording I talk too much and the 20th wasn't as good. Lol

Céline IS worth more haha. I could not afford to pay for another person's ticket lol. Ok I would never dream of going to a restaurant or to the cinema, the theatre or anything else like that by myself! I wouldn't even sit in a café by myself, even if I was doing some work. I also would never dream of going to a single other concert by myself. But... it's Céline! I love her so much that I don't care about all this kind of bullshit not going by yourself thing!! I would see her many times and travel across the world to see her by myself if I could. Also, when sat waiting in the arena, there were two other girls near me sat by themselves too! You certainly don't enjoy it any less, and no one around you cares. It was obvious to everyone around me that I was a huge fan and was just insanely happy to be seeing her lol. I adore being with friends but unfortunately that's not always possible, and I do enjoy doing certain things by myself. I.e anything that isn't the things I mentioned above lol.

 

I'm jealous of those of you who have partners or family or friends who like her!!! I hope I meet someone one day who I find out also loves her 😂 And to be fair, if I had a serious partner, I would try my best to get them to go to her concert with me lol/convert them to appreciating her 😂

Same here! Vegas has become a perfect way for me to see Celine. My husband and I started dating in 1996 and let me tell you, I have had to drag him to more Celine events than he can count. Celine's Falling Into You Tour was one of our first dates. HAHAHA He knew when he met me that I was a Celine fan (posters all over my bedroom walls) and even used it to his advantage to charm me being that he had taken 5 years of French in high school and would sit and show off by translating her songs. lol At this point, I think he's had enough of Celine. We love taking trips to Vegas, but now I go to the Vegas show "All By Myself" as well, while he goes off to the poker room. We can afford and find much better seats when I go solo and quite honestly, I have learned to LOVE the experience. I'm very much an introvert and shy person. I'm not one to stand or sing and jump around at concerts...but when I'm there by myself, my extrovert personality comes out and I just live it up and soak up every second of the show which includes dancing and singing in the mosh pit at the end. I do understand those who have talked about traveling by themselves...I don't think I could do that myself...yet anyway. Every time I see her in Vegas, there are others down in the orchestra section seeing the show by themselves too. There are sometimes I wish I had a friend who was a true Celine die hard fan like myself, but I'm very much a loner type personality - going solo really doesn't bug me much. <3

Yeah, I agree. His channel is good. And to be quite honest, if we were to end up getting some type of official recording, I believe everyone who uploaded a video would be in some type of violation for copyright. Not for nothing, while I enjoy the videos, I don't think we are in the right to be putting them on the internet regardless. I say cut the guy some slack, and just ask him to give you credit in the video description. I say the more the video is shared, the more eyes that see it. And that's what it's all about. If we weren't into sharing, we wouldn't upload.

You're right. I would actually like it if she did wear Gap lol, as I can't imagine it. I know she loves high fashion and experimenting with fashion. I am just a huge fan of flattering, feminine, elegant, timeless clothes, and this is not that. But I know that my opinion is completely irrelevant and she should wear whatever she wants, as she does, and that she's happy. And I have liked everything else she's worn so far, even the things most others have hated.

The readers' comments at the bottom of that article are SO nasty! It makes me so angry at them for thinking it's just fine to say whatever they like about someone they don't know behind a screen. And it's so ridiculous that they say she looks ill or old etc - any woman her age without a full face of make up looks like she does! Or usually much worse! She is ageing incredibly well and has perfect skin! My mum is stunning, is older than Céline, yet without her makeup she looks this way! Also, those who commented that she needs to eat more... many people have metabolisms that cause them to be really slim no matter what they eat. It's just ignorant to say that. I know Céline will never see those comments but it does make me angry.

I am not going in argument: everytime i upload a video i get a copyright complain from sony etc. But they allow the videos on youtube is written next to it, as long adds will be send on my video. But the filming of the video itself is also a copyright because i was the one who filmed it. That's why ah i am done with it. Apparently some of you do think it is normal to steal someones videos.

And i shared it because i loved to share it with the fans. Next time i should keep it for myself. It is not appreciated

I think she looks fabulous! Yea her outfits are way over the top but that's what makes a fashion icon! Clothes have to be interesting and eye catching - don't hate just cos someone breaks the mold (which for most famous women seems to be short skirts and as much cleavage as possible these days). When u wear a different look every day you can't please everyone - Celine is in the papers online every day now - and they love her! Gotta be happy with that! (Personally I am already saving for a floor length snakeskin leather cardigan 😂)
