hj1984 Posted June 27, 2017 at 09:01 PM Posted June 27, 2017 at 09:01 PM I absolutely love the fact Celine Dion is finally singing the majority of a 2 hour live concert actually 100% live - yeah, vocally it's wobbly in places but who really gives a damn - the songs carry themselves. For too long, it seemed she (or her management) were hung up on the fact people expected to hear vocal perfection song after song, night after night and the only way to deliver that was to lip songs. But for me, there is something extra special about the rawness, and occasional dud notes that makes these performances so so so much better than anything lipped. Vegas has been incredible for completely different reasons, especially the visual spectacular that was A New Day, but this has got to go down as one of her best concert tours ever - and we're only a few nights in. Some of the songs she's singing live here, The Reason, I Drove All Night are vocally more challenging than some of what she lips in Vegas so I really hope she takes some of this craving for live singing back to Vegas with her - freshens up and loosens up the show. Even if it means a few new arrangements and the odd lower key... but, I don't think it will happen 4 Quote

He owned the tv station and he tried to show her who was the boss. And i'm sure it is reason Julie did not do the interview, because they were into the worst of the battle at that time. I'm no surprised it was cancelled as I had heard rumours but I hear Jean Philippe is working on another show.
